let's get a list of things we've done to our c70's to make em' look even sleeker, hard to think that's possible, but it is. I've seen different spoilers here and there but they're either to rice-out, or to sporty(metal foil) for this fine blend of sport and luxury. I would think a trunk lip, similar to the new m3 spoiler, would be subtle yet do the trick quite nicely. Any ideas, examples, let's hear/see everything from clear turn signals, sideskirts, front fascia, rear valance, rims and the whole bit.

Re: cosmetics (mike_c70)

well yeah, I switched rides with my friend, he owns a supra n/a on 18's, so we could see what our cars look like in action. It was pretty cool, didn't realize how sparkly the chrome rims are, helluva stock optionhttp://********************/smile/emwink.gif. I was looking at what I could do to spice it up a little bit and since I've never seen a c70 identical to mine, think I got the best one in north countyhttp://********************/smile/emsmile.gif, I might as well make it reeeeeally badass so I want to get ideas from all ya'all.

I almost done with my custom made indiglo door sills. It's taking a lot longer to do because I want to do t right the first time. Plus getting those lights strips is a pain in the ass to do.

Re: cosmetics (biggerhurt38)

I've heard that you can use some BMW front spoilers on C70's, does anybody know if this is true or not?

Oh, and as far as the best in North County, I think there are only maybe 5 C70's down here lol

I think that white C70 with nasty bodykit and quad exhaust (oh and nasty looking int. leather color) retrofit a BMW front bodykit on his car.

Mike should still have that C70's pics on his website. I think that could be the one you are referring.

Re: cosmetics (The_one_n_only)

Well what I am thinking of doing is buying the 2003 headlights for the C70 and putting them on mine then putting the cross country xc70 grill on mine too. I think it will look sweet then..bye the way do you guys know if the 2003 headlights will work on mine 98

Re: cosmetics (C70SPEED)

The grille should look okay, if you didn't know already...they already did that for 2002 C70SE.

The headlights will fit as long as the overall housing remains the same.

Man, spending all the money on looking fast, eh? http://********************/smile/emwink.gif Could have gotten coilover kit then to turn fast....but oh wellz.

Re: cosmetics (C70SPEED)

I finally got to check out the 2003 changes. It's sweet!!! The clear headlamp is very nice and the back lamps are more jewel-like. However, I would seriously invest in some Xpel protective mask for the headlights if I were to switch. The back imo is not worth the change. The corner lamps are a little different too.

Retro-fitting the '03 to our cars should be plug and play, however, the whole housing has to be changed instead of just the lens. They have a new glare shield in there as well (naturally). All in all it looks good. I have to see the beam pattern on a wall or road to convince me to make the switch. I'm sticking with my E-codes.
