if it helps you feel any better, did the same to my old 89' 740GL but at about 10mph, yuk. My dad let me drive to my jr. high back in the day, I was only 12. I didn't seem to have any problem after that, my dad took it in and they checked the tranny gears, said it was fine.

Yeah but you were 12!! lol! Is that supposed to make him feel better! http://********************/smile/emsmileo.gif
Everyone does funny little things, especially in a rush without thinking, if your not experiencing any slip or shifting problems I think you got away with it this time!! http://********************/smile/emthup.gif

I've seen worse. http://********************/smile/emwink.gif Some guy in a rare nice-looking-Civic (subtle styling, slightly lowered, proper wheel size) revved his engine to probably 4-5K, then imediately pushed down the clutch pedal and shifted his manual trans into reverse. As you may know, reverse gear almost always has no synchros, so when you mesh moving gears to stopped gears, you get the WORST grinding noise ever!
