Don't be shy, bite the bullet and go for a good one. Once fitted, you'll spend as much time as you can watching it and when your not, you mates will be! http://********************/smile/emsmile.gif

I've gone for this one but the pod is taking forever to get right!!!

Ahh, comes down to watching the needle under heavy acceleration!

Went for this coz it has peak boost recall and can also do air, water and oil temp in the same gauge - oh yes, the green backlight it identical to the instruments on the dash.

I'd say something to put on my pilar, to view, but if hidden that's cool to, i'll just be doing some up boost on "special occasions" and i'll need to know what i run. The main thing is PRICE, PRICE PRICE. I'm 18 so I'm on a very limited budget with college coming up! Please help, thanks-MATT

How about something like this? http://********************/smile/emwink.gif

I should have put a turbo timer or something in there back then when I had a chance. http://********************/smile/emcrook.gif

I've heard you can pretty much take a generic one that is closest to the A Pillar we have and just use heat gun to get it to mold to the A pillar. The problem is, there's no A Pillar mount in the market that is long enough to extend all the way back to the C Pillar.

Anything else will just look out of place, I think.

I asked one of my local shops and they said they can custom mold a dual gauge pod for me for $200. They of course need the A-pillar piece. It's on the expensive side but maybe one of these days I'm going to bit the bullet and get it done. What's another gauge I might be interested in that's worth getting?

I don't like pillar mounts on the C70 ... it obstructs the speaker, and obstructs the view (IMHO). It looks too much like an add-on.
I think the ideal spot would be to have it mounted in front of the instrument cluster ... but I haven't seen anyone mount one there.
I had a temporary one taped there while I did some testing, and it was real easy to watch ... right underneath the speedo and tach .... next to all the other info you need to see simultaneously.
If you need connection and tubing routing info, I've got ipd's instructs in a pdf format I can email.

Also, Topless_Tart. Where did you get that guage? What kind is it? Does it show the boost in psi? Very nice looking. I like it. Any info on it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Go into the motorsport part and then into the Motorsport - parts and accessories. You'll be able to find it under instruments.

It does tell the boos in psi - bar & kg/cm2

Have a look, the company also do mail order (ask for a discount too - in the past they have usually been able to do something on the price)
