Honest mistake man.
Realistically? I'd say $10,000 off.
Count me in as well!
1-ask what advertising fee did they pay? Were they trying to sell your car out from under you?
2-You are willing to pay the advertising fee when they give you their holdback!
If an aftermarket hitch(Reese) is installed. Do you still need to bring it to a dealer to input into cars computer? Or any other hitch for that matter.
Maybe the dealer that did the maintenance can help. Try another route? Ask for a 50/50 split of the bill. As a Volvo leased vehicle there has to be something of a help.
You shouldn't be livid. You have several factors going against you. It's a 5 year old car. You aren't the first owner. Who knows what that first owner did as far as maintenance. And 46,000+ miles....
They should get you to 30,000 miles. So you will need another set before turning the car in. Just wondering if you looked into " subscription" VS. Leasing? Is it beneficial?
I was thinking the same thing. What is the tape protecting?
GM and Ford have rebates on top of 0% financing. Looking at a GM truck right now. $6,000 rebate, $1,000 trade in allowance, 0% for 7 years.
Michelins Premier LTX (M+S) on my XC60. Awesome tire in the wet. I live in Florida and it handles rain and wet road like they are glued to the road.
I have the Quatrac 5's on my BRP Spyder. All three wheels. Awesome handling tire. Great in the rain! Check tirerack for tire ratings.
Nerd it is good to hear that most of your issue is solved. Even better that you must have a good dealer and tech as well. Tom
That foam is more problems then help.
If you drive in a lot of wet weather, Michelin Premier LTX. We put them on and live in Florida. Very wet here. Handling is awesome! Very confident in the rain. Tom
I put Michelin premier LTX on our XC60. Awesome handling, wet or dry roads. In rain, they are glued to the road. Very happy with them. Local tire dealer matched the Tire rack price.
With all this BS going on. Did you bother to call, or stop in at Volvo HQ's? At least get the attention of the N/E sales rep.
Volvo wants $289, and local shop wants $229 to do the brakes on my XC60. I think your dealer is rather high. Was your dealer including the rotors as well?
I dislike them. I love the look and feel of leather. If I'm going to pay more for an R, I want leather.
This is sounding good. So far.
Awesome news that she is fine. Good thing the kids weren't in the vehicle and didn't experience the horror. And yes, Volvo safety is always the best!
Thanks DFrantz. Hope you are doing well.
So the dealer is basically out of the transaction?
Has anyone looked into this? I just started looking into it for a V60 wagon. it was there the other day, now it's gone. Only the V60CC is there. I don't need the AWD. If you have signed up. How is it...
If the wheels are all F-upped. I would say that's hard damage. Ask that they be replaced.
I like the new Mazdas now that they have put a turbo under the hood. CX5 or CX9. Extremely reliable. My last 2 cars were the Mazda3, and 6. Oil changes only. Over 80,000 miles on both.
I agree. Have been to a few dealers. Nothing but, white, black, silver, gray cars on the lot.
I never use the Volvo maps. Always use google maps or waze. Always up to date, more accurate.
I've got 32000+ on my XC60. So far, it's good. No bad vibes. Keeping my fingers crossed.
