At this point, I think they've reviewed all of the P* vehicles. Their primary concern is price, which I agree with.
Ha, no. Better on the highway and double the city numbers.
Probably adjusts the electric power steering torque to compensate for camber.
It's the same ride/parked height as the Heico Selective Level kit (1" drop, easy entry/exit enabled) -...
That's normal if you drive in PURE a lot (regardless of temperature). Happens to every T8 - periodic self diagnostic routine.
Looks normal to me. The first time you cross the EV-only threshold, it takes ~2 mins for the engine to warm up. After that, each instance has a 10 - 15 sec delay before returning to EV-only.
Because the S60 in the video is a T8, here are the relevant acceleration (acc), RPM (engine speed), and torque curves (ICE + ISG - front axle, ERAD - rear axle):
Statistically, 71.6% of Americans were overweight/obese in 2016 (estimated to be 85% by 2030).
Perhaps, that explains the strong preference for ventilated seats (excessive perspiration)?
White vehicle with tan leather in TX. I've never wanted for ventilated seats and I use ECO climate 100% of the time.
I'd negotiate hard for #3 ($30k) and get an extended warranty.

Nice. You remind me of the 'stralian subscribers who send unsubstantiated nonsense to this youtuber - https://www.youtube.com/user/AutoExpertTV
I'll bite - let's see your "proof". Ha.
That wasn't the cause.
The spark plugs were the wrong heat range (spec'd too "hot"). The advantage of a "hotter" plug is it produces less emissions...
You're associating 5w30 usage with (1) spark plug and (2) piston ring failure?
I'll ignore this one because I assume you're suffering from wildfire smoke inhalation...
0w20 is recommended for fuel economy reasons (<1.0% improvement over 5w30) and to help meet Volvo's stated carbon goals. I'll stick with 5w30 in the TX heat and mild winters.
For comparison, my...
Where they updated after MY18? If so, I'm curious if I could request a proactive compressor replacement under warranty.
Hill assist is engaging. Yes, neutral.
Suspensions are complicated, and any number of components can cause a rattle over bumps. You assume the 4C shocks are the cause.
Good luck with the diagnosis.
It could be as simple as a fuse, or you may need a new air compressor. Calm down and get a quote to fix it before you assume the worst.
ICE is ~30% efficient and EV (PURE mode) is ~90% efficient. Unless you're paying an obscene price for electricity, EV is always less expensive.
$0.89 (full charge, $0.12 kWh) / 18...
There are two gauges: (1) EV Threshold - before ICE engages and (2) Battery Charge - bottom right corner.
Yes, that's why I'm guessing it may be climate related. In my T8, ICE will randomly turn...
Unsure. It's behaving like it's in HOLD (lower EV threshold), but HOLD isn't indicated on the battery charge gauge.
I'm curious if it's related to the climate controls. Do you have the heat on...
No one here is "hypermiling". That trades time for speed (e.g., driving below the speed limit). I certainly don't do that. I try to maximize efficiency without losing time.
The simple rule is -...
That's simply not true.
If that's your preferred driving, then great. Keep doing it. But, don't claim it's the "best way to get good mpg".
I drive in PURE (and toggle HOLD) on most drives. I also use B mode to gradually slow down approaching red lights. Until now, I've always driven a stick, so manual control is something I prefer. ;)
My experience is to the contrary and his video illustrates that point in the HYBRID vs PURE runs. If you reserve battery for low speed operation (<= 45 mph), you'll get better trip efficiency.
The estimated range is just that - an estimate. It's based on an equation Volvo has updated in the past, so if you've had a software update since you purchased it, the equation could've changed.
Volvo should change the low tire pressure message to:
"Looks like your tires are low. Post on swedespeed and discuss. When you get obvious advice, proceed to air up your tires."
Thanks for the...
The Gold warranty covers the air suspension and related components (except 4C shocks). So, the VIP does too. I found the Gold warranty to be sufficient for my concerns.
