Looks clean, just in time for summer.
Almost here. orca arrived to dealership.
Now we need to arrange final leg, weaving through corona and unrests.
Welcome back from yet another old fart - Just like you I had 2004 V70R, later migrated to Golf TDI for a 150m commute. Waiting for my 2020 XC60 T8 to be delivered in a few days - it just arrived to...
Don Beyer from Beyer Volvo in VA, US Ambassador for Switzerland and Lichtenstein, 2009-2013, Congressman since 2014. I must admit, I bought 2 cars from his dealerships - and liked all locations.
Enjoy the surprise - if we may ask, where are you located ( which state ? )
Fantastic - I am very envious. Glad that your waiting is over. Enjoy modding and the drive - and when weather is nicer, we need moar pictures !
Have fun !
Now we need the pics to believe !
Yeah, not the best news - port has limited staffing, and they did stop on trucking waiting for storm to pass over. Most likely next week...
keeping fingers crossed, drinking beer.
Carmen was in Baltimore on 5/9, so not a month yet ( I know, it feels like much longer... ).
So I'd expect vehicles to show at dealership this week.
We shall see.
Anyone got her/his car from Carmen delivery ?
Still waiting for call from dealer that the XC60 is there..
Not surprised after MB dealer in VA managed to put narrow tires on one side, wide on another side after trying to rotate tires on a C43 AMG (offset tires... ). Well, that was last time I visited...
And you did NOT turn over to film him or to jump onto truck fast & furious style to capture vins??? Major fail my friend...
(Joking mode off)
Hope that is the load heading to Charlotte.
No problem, we will have to wait for our car to be trucked down to FL. At this point we hope to get it here in next 2 or 3 weeks. Backyard BBQ with a new XC40 - you need to tailgate the party !
That sucks. Hope you will do it in a few years...
Nope. Waiting for the call from dealership. It should be somewhere between Baltimore and Charlotte.
No rust in Cleveland, OH ?? That is...unlikely.
/kleks (yeah, I learned to drive in Cleveland... )
congrats on tomorrow pickup. Mine was released to trucking company, so now waiting for the word from dealer when he has it.
I know what you are talking about - till last year I was...
Got my IFF e-mail today, so car is released to trucking company.
We shall see when it arrives in NC.
Got my mail from IFF today, and confirmation from dealer that the car is in tracking que - we shall see when it arrives to NC
One is already at the dealership (XC40), mine is in a que for tracking, cleared customs.
Check this thread: ...
Mine was released to trucking company.
Should be in dealership in next few days - and then we are heading north to NC to pick it up and ride back home.
Have fun you'll !
Looks like first car from Carmen (Baltimore arrival on 5/12 ) already hit the dealership in Maryland. No, not mine :-(.
BTW, if you are on the MAC - use Safari. Chrome gives an error.
Pictures or it does not happened !
One more vote for Bob K from University Volvo.
Cool guy (tm)
Aaaarggghhh. It is not working in Chrome, but it is working in Safari !
Finally see it.
Still on the ship in my case.
Thanks, and good luck !
JTXC60 - where do you see it ? ( Web site, application ? )
Looks like yours is off the ship and waiting for customs.
Oh boy... so we are 13 days behind you. I hoped that there is not much work going on in the port, but it sounds like ports came to stop due to virus, and we have no visibility into when the que...
Nope... notice transport. We are picking most likely in NC, from University Volvo. Bob is the angel who was blowing the wind into carmen sails :-).
Still discussing in house if we will drive from...
