Attached a photo where you can see how you can fitt a BW35 bellhouse to a AW71. You need a shim which you fitt to the AW71 and than you can fitt the BW35 bellhouse. Rather simple.

Welcome! Allways good to read that someone is saving a Volvo from destruction.
I think it would be eassier to fit a AW 71 automatic transmission, drives great.
