The OZ wheels came with hub-centric rings "attached" to the wheels. No spacers required. I can't imagine the Polestar brake calipers on newer Polestars are bigger than mine.

Then he'll need two pads, as the ground pad will not fit properly on the other undamaged welds.

Post some pictures so we can help you sort this out.

Well, looking at the photo I posted, the magnetic pad fits perfectly on the front pinch weld and worked perfectly for changing all four wheels. The magnets made aligning the floor jack very easy.

I used this jack pad on front and rear pinch welds with my floor jack. Works great!
