Well according to the buyers the car failed for NOx. They didn't mention anything about it being sensor related. I would think that might indicate a faulty (or not a high enough cell) cat.

However it's not my problem to fix it, so I don't really care, I'm just curious if others had the same experience.

      Emissions testing in CO

Has anyone in CO (or elsewhere as well) successfully passed emissions with a tuned car?

I've since sold the S40 but the new owners are having some difficulties passing emissions.

      No CEL but...

Idk if it's lifted but there was a black V50 floating around here on some fat AT tires. Not sure how to track that down though.

First I would unplug the battery and let it chill for 10 minutes. See if that clears things up.

Then get the battery tested. If it's pushing 5 yrs old I would plan on replacing it.

      2007 S40 T5 AWD OEM Downpipe (DP)

Car was an auto but I don't think that matters. It was taken off at 120k miles when I upgraded to the 3" EST pipe- no issues.

It's been sitting in a buddy's garage and now I definitely have no use...

$5k for a trans. Damn. That makes me glad I got rid of my S40 recently. It was pushing 170k miles, almost a 1/3 of those were tuned. But you don't read about many trans failures on here.

Tires have ~4k miles on them. Rims are in good condition, 2 of them have a tiny bit of curb rash. These make a good summer set but unfortunately do not fit on my new car.

Putting brakes on just for show is a huge waste of money IMO. Get some 320s if you don't have them already, and decent pads as Jirv said. I recommend the Porterfield R4-S.

Nonreplaceable. Order new ones, they're pretty cheap anyway. I don't recommend the Massive adjustable ones...they seem nice, but mine were starting to clunk after barely a year.

Under what circumstances do you get the knock?

My S40 developed a knocking sound under heavy throttle. I thought it was an engine knock but later decided it was a suspension or drivetrain noise.
