Since nobody is on the road right now I drove the ol' gal to work.
Installed my 05+ tail lights after having them for 1.5 years
Price and pics sent via PM. I'm in Nashville
You could buy my 04 XC70 that needs a drivers seat grid heater replaced. I've fixed about everything else on it and upgraded quite a few things.
I believe this was an OSD color only. You can also find 2011 XC60's in the same color, albiet quite rare.
Never seen or heard of a timing chain failing on the Si6 engine. Certainly not impossible, but I'd want a second opinion for sure.
OP, since you have a MY 10 the steering wheel is unique to your vehicle, especially if you have NAV. MY 11 and up have different steering wheel.
You can use an 07-10 S80 or XC70 steering wheels if...
And the small seal goes on the inside of the collar, behind the snap ring.
Replaced all 4 TPMS sensors in the 07 XC70. No more flashing lights!

The polestar tune is always active, but the change in transmission logic is only in Dynamic/Polestar modes.
The fan module is going out. Replace the entire assembly before it stops working and you overheat the engine.
I second the oil pan removal for cleaning. You've got the late design pick up tube, so no need to replace that. This isn't the easiest oil pan in the world to get on and off correctly. Plenty of...
I've only ever put in one set of Sonnax solenoids vs dozens of rostra solenoids. It seems that most transmission I've put the Rostra solenoids seem to have a pretty decent delay from park to drive...
What model year are we talking about? Pressure sensor failure not very common on this engine, more likely you have sludge blocking the screen in the pickup tube.
The short version is in manual mode you are bypassing the shift solenoids that typically stick when the transmission is using its own logic to shift. At this point I think the best solution you have...
It's actually an engine serial number split sometime in MY 05.
I've run 0W-40 in 7 different white blocks over the course of 6 years, absolutely zero issues. I think your buddies car was just going to spin a bearing no matter what oil was in it.
On topic: I...
Glad to see my write up has helped some people!
OP: So the vehicle has the original transmission now, but you swapped VB's from the 05 transmission correct? If so, what were the ID codes on the...
Online wiring diagrams can be found here for free
The information regarding terminals and specs can be found in...
The VIN you are working on is an automatic car, so there will be no wire at B15. B4 most certainly will have solid brown wire. I don't recall what each connector looks like, but you should be able to...
Can you post the VIN you are working on?
I would be suspect of the rear diff oil pump. Fairly common failure in MY 15 and it can makes some noise or a shuddering feel when it's acting up.
Just make your own and line it up to the factory mark on the timing cover with the gear in its limit position.
I made a video on this subject some years ago, you may want let your mechanic watch.
Check out the 8eight fab FB page, he's been very responsive to me when I purchased my downpipe.
