R radiator.. who has an old/junk one?! ( I forgot who had one replaced last time and i requested it)

So I think my radiator is leaking....

If anyone has an old radiator...I'd like it so I can have an aluminum one made.

Perhaps made and duplicated for the R family.

      Help me out!

Who are you having make one up for you?

I contacted Ron Davis Racing Products (http://www.rondavisradiators.com/) a couple of years ago and received the following reply:

"We can build it but we will need a sample to copy the dimensions. The price will be between $550.00 - $770.00 plus shipping and it will take us 4 weeks to build it."

Still haven't acted on it as my stocker seems okay for the track events I do; might be useful after the new turbo goes in, though.

I dunno yet, but I'll probably contact quite a few people to see where the value is, and perhaps setup a group buy.

I'm just making sure p2 radiators are universal so that way S60/V70 and R folks can benefit.

I know it's got plastic ends, but why not use the old IC's? They're designed like the radiators... still have plastic ends, but they can be had on the cheap.

It's a good idea but I'm not sure we have the engineering background here to be able to evaluate how the cooling capacity would work ... there can be minute differences in how the fins and passages are made, since it's for liquid use rather than air/air... not sure...

Agreed... but have you *SEEN* the stock (larger) IC? It really looks like it's meant to flow fluid, not air...
