      Got it, Iíve never asked my insurance about adding more than 2 cars but that makes sense. Can only drive so many cars at once

      That's a good idea, I'm going to look into that. It would be a good way to insure both that and my 240 once it's on the road. Still trying to decide on a 5.3 or B230FT. I already have an FT in this green 940, so I'll have to think about that some more...

      I'm working through the numbers with my agent now. First quote only had my T-5R on it for some reason. That was $968. When we added my dad's Frost T5, it increased to $999 LOL. $25k GV on the T-5R and $10k on the Frost T5 on those quotes. The first quote on my T-5R was actually $518 but that was at $5k value so that was obviously not going to work but useful as a comparison point of what it looks like if you were to insure less valuable cars on a classic policy.

      This is how the rich have all the fun toys. Once you figure out how to play the game, you can get an incredible amount done while spending a lot less than anyone would think.

      Wow, $518 isn't bad at all. For my red blocks, that would work fine... they're basically worthless! Lol

      Found some p80 racks for 30 bucks up in Albany, gunna go pick em up Tuesday.

      S70 going in Monday for new doors, fender, thermostat, sway bar links, hood lock cable, parking brake cable and the shoes as well. Iíd try tackling it as they all seem like relatively easy jobs but alas, no available garage

      I was under the impression that they wanted to itstall P80 R calipers. Problem with that is the rotors are NLA.

      And here I thought R calipers on p80 are the same as regular v70 AWD, but just different rotor?

      2000 Rs got vented rear rotors, whereas all other AWDs got the regular solid rotors. I believe the calipers are the same though.

      You can still get the R rotors, I got them for mine earlier last year. They're Centric from Rock Auto. iPd carries them too.

      You can still get the R rotors, I got them for mine earlier last year. They're Centric from Rock Auto. iPd carries them too.

      Finally wrapping up the NA cam swap on my S70. Learn from my mistakes and be extremely careful pulling the cams out. Don't force them and pull them out evenly. Simple cam swap ended up being a new head. Car ended up being down for a month and half, only a few more hours worth of work and it should be back up and running.

      While I was in there;
      New front and rear cam seals
      New lifters
      New Valve stem seals
      New exhaust manifold gasket
      New intake manifold gasket
      New head gasket
      New head bolts
      New gates racing timing belt
      New water pump
      New idler roller
      New serpentine belt
      New serpentine belt tensioner

      Wow, that sucks! I've had a similar thing happen with a Dodge 4.7 while doing the timing chains. While tightening a bolt for a chain guide, I discovered a hairline split in the aluminum piece that the bolt threads into... which is part of the head casting. Fortunately I was swapping the engine into the truck, and still had the old motor there with a good head, so I swapped that over and replaced the head gasket.

      Really nice job cleaning it all up! It looks awesome! What kind of paint did you use on the spark plug cover? It looks good!

      Used Duplicolor paint for the spark plug cover and the cam cover. Hopefully it holds up

      Not sure what car your cousin has but if they came from the factory with semi-metallic pads then he should use those. My S70 pedal would go to the floor. Replaced lines and brake fluid with no luck. Got rid of the ceramics and went with Bosch quiet-cast semi-metallics and it brakes like normal now. Of course there's more dust but i'll take better braking performance any day.

      Yeah Ceramic is an epic fail. The dust doesn't really bother me; a bottle of Sonax wheel cleaner is cheap compared to crashing lol.

      I would go ATE over Bosch. I'm also trying out Pagid pads on my 850R since Hawk is NLA and the Pagids have been good on P2 so I'll be reporting back on those.
