Sorry no pictures. Enjoyed Mahle-fest: replaced air filter, fuel filter, and oil filter. Poured in Redline 5W40 (probably still too thick for a Wisconsin winter, but hey, it is Wisconsin and it could be 80℉ next week).

Replaced H1 foglight bulbs with Optilux Extreme Yellow XY by Hella. I see a lot of forums talk smack about yellow bulbs, but even if they don't increase my ability to see in fog/bad weather, I think it will increase my chances of being seen in fog/bad weather. Still toying with the idea of sticking a red LED bulb in for the rear foglight. Anybody else done this? What did you use?

I'm wondering the same about an LED bulb in the fog light position. I'd only go for no less than the damn brightest one I can find, lol. I did though swap out my brake light bulbs for a pair of red LED ones that give a quick triple flash before remaining on solid. Didn't know they do that, but it's a nice touch I think especially to grab someone's attention in inclement weather. Best part is they must be CANBUS compatible because no bulb out message.
I'm going to modding my fog lights at some point for 3000k yellow HIDs.

I think the biggest problem with LEDs for fogs on our cars is limited space. Since the fogs have physical barriers (light cut offs) to keep in low.

People have done it, just be aware a longer bulb will pose an issue perhaps

1600 miles from WI to TN and back for Thanksgiving, super comfy as always.

Few little projects I may wrap up this weekend, but really stuck eyeballing wagons still

Been trying to figure out this CEL. Put on a catless dp and Changed out both O2 sensors bit the NTK one days no signal. But itís new. VIDA is no help. Says itís either a bad sensor, open circuit, or corrosion. Fuses are good. Isnít there one fuse for both sensors?

Can you put in the old ones and check for performance? Seems like one of the new ones could be faulty, based on what youíve provided. Itís not a down pipe issue at this point.

What did you do with your s60 today?

Refreshed my spaceball. It got scratched up when I put on my ebay shift knob. Also, added a new bushing (the one in the middle of the ball). I got off a guy on FB.

Gotta order a BPPS. Ugh - I hope that does it. New problem.

Timing belt service done, think all in all it took me around 5-6 hours of going real slow to make sure I did things right (timing belt, water pump, aux belt, tensioners & idler). Honestly, the only thing I forgot to plan for was distilled water for the coolant mix, but wifey ran to the store on Christmas Eve to get me a few gallons.

The biggest help I found was 2 notes on this post ( https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/fo...p?f=10&t=83521 ).

      - First, not removing the crank pulley but instead removing the plastic protector and flossing the belt out and then back in.
      - Second, adding my own marks w/ white paint on all 3 pulleys and the block to help you keep things in place (since actual position matters less than relative position to each other)

Also having the wife help hold the belt/intake gear as I finished threading it around helped keep things in place.

Oh, and the timing belt tensioner was confusing the hell out of me, because I was trying to practice it in my hand, it doesnít work right until you mount it and put the belt on it, then it makes sense.

Anyhoot, while the parts were removed I painted the oem upper cross bar black again, no more blue.

Also painted the engine plastics graphite, no more Swedish flag. Better than stock, but less bright plastic look (still need to finish & reinstall those once I'm confident that the water pump is tight and all is good)

FCP has Boston Brew Co cater their cars and coffee and their cold brew on nitro is superb.

In general any good coffee done as cold brew and on nitro is a treat. All that aromatic foam, the lack of bitterness and the smooth flavors it tends to bring out make it appealing to me.

What did you do with your s60 today?

Finally figured out why my O2 sensor wasnít showing a signal. My son unplugged one and didnít plug it back in. The other was a fuse that blew, which caused my car to show ďreduced engine performance.Ē Got my undercarriage washed.

Old girl is at the shop, 2 days, they're doing the final adjustments in the transmission and hope to have it back to me in the morning.

      Hopefully it's a good start to 2020

I can't believe it hasn't sold! It is a really nice one. Maybe reduce the price a bit. Carmax must be chopping you if they will even make a deal. My guess is they would only allow what wholesale is based on recent auction results in your region.

Yup, they say it's a wholesale/auction car, about the same if get to a dealer trade in.

1 interested person, hopefully it is a go.
Otherwise let the stripping begin lol

P2's aren't notorious for high resale anymore unless you have an R and put it on BAT.

I mean, perfect tranny and I'd be lucky to get 6 here, so, whatever.

All part of the process to get me in my new car in my new home

Gah, I'll trade you mine to sell to CarMax, lol! I wish! But seriously, I'm work Rick on this, I'm damn surprised there isn't a line out the door to buy her.

You're honestly better off keeping it, man. Sad, but you know the issues. Trans will last a long ass time if you learn the problem and adapt your driving style. Painful, but maybe then you can continue to save. Is there ample parking in the new spot? You may want to plan for that when searching if it's not set yet.

Unless it's the wrong time of year. This one has 5 hours left, is super clean and only 9K. I'm hopeful that it skies in the final moments.

Gotta be honest, I'm done with P2's, even if I pay to transport this car and if the transmission wasn't doing it's thing, I have eyes on a newer larger wagon, so any more $$ put into this would be wasted and I'd still be looking to sell in a few months.

I have a buyer, we're waiting for the $ to transfer bank accounts before I call it sold, and if that fails I have a handful of backup people, just sucks with time getting short.

I still love this car and would love a V70R, but I want more ground clearance and more passenger room than any P2 can do, and it's not worth (for me) the nostalgia to drop 10-15K on a 15 year old car for my daily driver.

I changed these bushings and cannot believe how many vibrations gone. At least 70% less on steering wheel.

What kind of bushings did you replace it with?
