For father's day the wife told me I could work on the S60 during the day instead of at night like usual after the kids are asleep. IPD adjustable toe arms going in!

Super clean looking, especially with the iPD swaybar it looks like you have.

Yes, IPD bars front and back. This S60 was what I would describe as a sloppy drunk when I bought it a year and a half ago. After the sway bars, H&R springs, delrin subframe bushings, 18" sticky rubber and now the
beefy toe arms this car is back on track.

That's quite a stable handling setup! How are the Delrin bushings? I need to at the least get my bushings replaced with some new OEMs... But debating on the XC heavy duty ones or just OEM and popping in the iPD poly bushing inserts for added beef which I already have a set of on hand...

I had the Ipd poly ones in at first. Install was a total pia. Couldn't get 2 of them to seat all the way properly no matter how much grease I used.
It was an improvement over stock though.
Then I picked up some Yother's Bros 2 piece off of Scottish. Much much better. Just save yourself the time and go straight to delrin.

How difficult or easy is removal of the factory bushings?

It's not the easiest thing, but it's not as bad as I thought it would be. If you take the subframe out completely, cut through the outer shell of the bushing with a sawzall (don't cut into the subframe itself) and hammer a screwdriver into the edge to help squeeze it out.

If the subframe is out you can wack them out with one good blow from a hammer.

It’s a good excuse to but a little floor press from Harbor Freight... the entire R&R process takes about 15 minutes with an extra set of hands to help balance the subframe. I’ve done three sets this way and it works great.

Not necessary to remove the entire subframe. I found it easier to each one individually. Remove the bolt from the one you want to replace, loosen the other 3 so it drops down enough. I used a 1/2" spade bit and a cordless drill and cut through the old bushings very easily.

Once you cut through the old rubber in a few spots the things just pop out easily.

Gave the wife's S60 some much needed love. New tires, rear brakes, turbo return oil seal, turbo / intercooler coupler, and a full Mototec stainless exhaust system.

After 50.000km of neglect some things really needed my attention.
Did spark plugs, air filter, upper engine mount, the short turbo hose, IPD endlinks front and back and the apparently missing cabin air filter last week.

Tuesday replaced (by a specialist) vvt seal plus timing belt plus tensioner, auxiliary belt and water pump. They found some pretty bad sludge in the black end cap.

Dropped the oil pan yesterday to clean it and change the oil pickup tube. Honestly not doing that again by myself. Hoping the old rubber seals will hold up because even though I asked them for all the needed seals to reinstall the pan and oil pickup tube they only sold me the one for the pickup tube.
How long do you wait before putting new oil in, I had it standing for about 7-8hrs.

Also did the auxiliary belt tensioner since its bearings were making noise.
Not sure if it fixed the whine yet, only ran the car for about a minute to check for oil leaks.

Wanted to do the power steering fluid and reservoir too but I ran out of hose clamps without realizing.

      On the to do list:
      LCA L+R
      MAF?
      Ignition coil "1"
      Oil cap seal
      Prepping for yearly inspection

Ps, while I was down there I took the time to clean the PCv hole. It was pretty gunked up
The car did pass the glove test prior to this cleaning, I was afraid it would suck the glove in, so is the PCv good or bad

If it was trying to suck the glove in, I'd say the PCV is working very well!

Today I finaly put cruise control software. Until now car didn't have it. Had to go to Volvo dealer, pay 200 USD and that's all. Guy who was previous owner said that he doesn't care about that so I take time to activate it. Had to instal buttons on steering wheel and all other wiring was there.

I think I may have fixed my “reduced engine performance” issue. I took some Stabillant-22 and dropped a few drops of the formula into the wiring harness connector. So far, so good. Thanks to Chefricky as this idea has improved the car quite a bit.

But.. I hit a bump yesterday and noticed my headlight washer cover is missing. Second time I have lost one. Next time I’m going to just glue it on.

Things are good, ZZZZZZ. Been slammed on house projects so the cars have taken a back seat for a couple months. Does Todd have one in titanium grey? Ha

My other cover just fell off somewhere. Ugh! I’m gonna delete the washers by pulling the fuse and glue the covers once I get them.

Honeymooning up in Lake Tahoe CA... We're fortunate that shoes are clear here and little to no haze or smoke on the skies from all the surrounding fires. The photo below is after a 7 mile "off-road" drive on a dirt road up to Bodie ghost town...
