K-Pax said that the exhaust is a Borla. however it does not sound like my 2.5" borla, therefore im guessing this is a 3" borla. there will be an option for an upgraded brake kit possibly by brembo (asked on facebook) but it isn't included in the k-pax gt package.

The most recent white one was a dude from Bellingham, he got it through a California dealer though. He just got surgery though so I haven't seen the car he has just been emailing me and what not. He has pics posted on importmeet.com

I will be roadtesting the one at Keystone in a day or so (at least they told me I could) so stay tuned.
Nice wheels in person, ad ecent package overall and the exhaust a very bad-ass sounding.
Not a fan of the 2-tone R design interior but that's just me
I would love to see one of these in a wild color

I think the wheels look fine. It's not like the R Design has the best looking wheels to start with. $6500 is a hefty premium though. I'll stick with my options a la carte.

Can pick up some badass wheels for 6500$ and hell of a lot lighter than BBS too.

For $6500, I can get wheels, tires, springs, struts/shocks, and a vacation. Or just the wheels and a badass vacation.

The kit is $6995.00 for the manual and $5995.00 plus install for the automatic (but why would anyone want this kind of performance without being able to control it).... I have #4 of 25 in my showroom for sale and it is worth every penny... The only thing that would make this car more fun would be AWD. For 3K more then a John Cooper Works you get a nicer, roomier, FASTER car and you don't void "Safe and Secure"....

..and as soon as Ben listens to my idea and adds a pair of 2" wide x approx 5" long subtle blue and yellow fender stripes to set it apart it will fly out of there!
      It has an AWESOME stance

The seven grand doesn't include installation? I remain skeptical of the "worth every penny" part. With installation, that's roughly a 25% premium over the car I've ordered. Once in that price range, I'd need to re-evaluate my choice of car.

And without installation, it's still more than 20% of what I'm paying. All the upgrades to my current car that I mention in the other thread, I installed myself. I can install pretty much anything, although I'd need software and cable to upload the tune and I'd need to get an alignment after changing any control arms. I ordered a couple of options I don't need, but figure that they might help resale value. And I deserve a *few* goodies. The more serious stuff I'll do as I get time/money/inclination.

Doesn't the C30 GT come with more than that? i.e. the exhaust and tune?

On a side note, I wish Polestar had done something like this for the consumer market, give us AWD for the C30!!

The C30 GT is about the same price as a VW Golf R with AWD. We can only hope Volvo will offer a C30 with AWD, perhaps a 280hp 4cyl, AWD C30 in 2014.

Volvo not offering these in AWD was the dumbest decision they ever made. They had the jump on the hot hatch craze.

The brand just loves to disappoint.
