I'm pretty sure every thread on the vortex is: "Y u no slammed/tire stretched?"

But seriously, I'm wondering why this hasn't been brought up yet:

FCP Euro: Great prices. Great dudes. Great website. They even proactively called me (I had no idea and wouldn't have had any idea had they not called) because they thought they were shipping me the wrong axle for my 850. They ran down to the loading dock, ripped it off the pallet and put the correct one on the pallet.... five minutes before closing. Their parts selection is obviously not as good as Tasca's, but they're working on it.

Does CF Werks owe you money? Did you pay for a product but never receive it?

      Fellow R Owners:

Did you order and pay for a product from CarbonFiber Werks (CarbonFiberWerks.com) but you still haven't received it? Have you emailed Henry repeatedly and been told that the product has shipped or is about to be shipped, and yet after weeks or months, you still have not received it?

I believe I am owed money by CF Werks. I am collecting names of people who believe similarly. If you believe you are owed your money back from Henry and/or CF Werks, let me know by emailing:

      [email protected]

Put "CFWerks" in the subject heading.

Perhaps you should indicate what you plan to do with the names?

Hi, guys, I'm looking for recommendations for business litigation and/or consumer rights attorneys in Toronto. I'm setting up my own interviews, but if anyone local has recommendations, feel free to PM me.

Think of it as a self help group for people owed money by CFWerks. If it turns out that there enough of us, with enough $$$ at stake, then one could argue that there were a "class" of us owed money. As a group, classes often "act" together to right wrongs. I am just sick and tired of sending emails and PMs with no reply.

Purchased a number of items from CFWerks - never had a problem - just saying.
As OP suggested - use the PP resolution centre...

I think you should focus on yourself first, post what you paid for, what you were supposed to receive from CFwerks. It would better help your cause and let others know your problem.

Your actions about litigation and class action stuff, I'm afraid is really unrealistic. Even if CFwerks were doing bad business and out to rip you off, these would be considered as Small Claims under $1,000. No lawyer or legal advisor would take this case on, as it would be little to no gain to the lawyer, especially against an individual or small business.

I protest the removing of my thread on CFWerks from the R Forum and the burying of it on this thread.

Second, I formally request to know the relationship, business, personal or otherwise, between the moderator deleting/moving threads and Henry of CFWerks. The removal of my threads would seem, in my opinion, to been in assistance of CFWerks.

Your thread was a feedback thread, which is what this thread was made for. It belongs here and not as part of the R forum. You are free to discuss your transactions here. I do not need to clarify my actions.

My thread was not a feedback thread, I was attempting to locate people who believe they may be victims. It was not a complaint thread. It in no way deserves to be buried in this thread where no one will see it.

Until my thread has been restored, you and this forum have lost all credibility in my eyes. You may not care about this, but others will begin to question why you appear to be protecting the business practices in question.

But my answering this is moot, I fully expect you to delete this posting as soon as you see it.

Look, this thread is at the top of the R forum as a Sticky, so it's never buried!!!
Secondly, all your victims(that recently posted) are here and you can find them easier, just go back and read them. Thirdly, no matter what you say, you are a victim and It's a complaint thread, I can't see it being otherwise. If you want to start a litigation thread upon CFwerks, then why are you on the R forum. Are Other Volvo owners not your concern, last time I checked he carried other products too? This should be in the general forum, if you don't want it here.

      Lastly, I'm not deleting anything.

Ok, forget being a mediator, what about helping to warn the community?

Isnt that what a thread like this is ultimately for? To help keep good people from sending hard earned money to shady dealers/vendors who don't stand by their product and dont communicate when there's a problem? I dont even care if he sees my post, thats not my goal. My goal is to help drive sales to the vendors who have EARNED them with their quality products and outstanding customer service (i.e. George/Viva and the folks at IPD).

      Agree or disagree?

Agreed. You can freely voice your situation if your in a snag or incredibly satisfied or somewhere in between. Elaborate the details on your transaction and what's been said, promises and solutions, great customer service or lack there of. This helps give a better picture to users on this forum as to how the vendor does business; positive or negative.

As for being a mediator, like I said in the past, I made a mistake trying to screen what I thought was useless negativity or commentary. Who am I to judge what others think?

Gotcha, i wasnt referring to you serving as a mediator, I meant, the THREAD should not be a mediating forum. That should be all done in private, the results are always better. But sometimes, if a vendor sees his name in a bad light, it will motivate him to get his ass in gear and fix the problem.

I'm waiting another 12 hours, and then I will post the ENTIRE email chain I've had with him, for the sake of transparency. I will also link other posts of other people who had similar issues.

Ah, I misinterpreted. But that was the truth, no biggie.

I agree that dealing with the situation is far better in private for companies that are well-standing, but there are others that need that push for them to set things right.

Ok... Tascaparts may not be a vendor, but they've certainly pissed me off in the last week or so. I ordered an axle from them on Monday night. They said that they had one in stock. I call them yesterday to find out why it's still processing and not shipped. They said that they couldn't find the part, so it had to be shipped from Volvo. This was ridiculous because I had an appointment today to fix the car... The service guy says that he'll change the shipping to deliver on the weekend for free. I agree and reschedule my mechanic appointment for Monday.

I called them just now, asking why the delivery date said monday instead of Saturday. Tasca service guy said that he's got no idea who I talked to, but they can't simply change a shipping. exact quote: "you selected ground shipping, so you'll get it on Monday." WTF!!! I selected ground shipping on Monday when I knew I'm one delivery day away from RI. I wasn't going to pay $200 for shipping for express, only to get the same part, the same day. If I had ordered today, I would have selected the next day shipping. He said the best he can do is refund my shipping costs, which is great, but I'm still without an axle for monday and on wednesday, I'm driving 450 miles. I mean yes, I understand that problems happen, but why not call me when you realize you don't have the part ready to ship as I was told?

Thats aggravating. They screwed me up too, but it wasnt suich a crisis and they fixed it right away. I ordered a replacement headlight assy from them and had it shipped to MB. So mike calls me and tells me the box is a mess and the part looks like its been used. Tabs are bent or broken, the glass is pitted.

So i called them and found out someone in the back screwed up and shipped me a headlight assy that someone else had RMAd and Tasca was supposed to ship back to Volvo. So they shipped me a NEW headlight overnight delivery, as well as a return label for the broken headlight, and I was happy when i got what i ordered.

But it sounds like they need to fire someone...

I mean yeah it will be fixed on Tuesday, but I should've had the car fixed by today if they would organize their warehouse. After $479, I'm entitled to knowing when my part will arrive as well as whatever delays they encounter.

You have by far one of the best experiences "I" have seen when dealing with Henry. I'm about to join into the shenanigans and purchase his Wiper Plugs. I will surely report positives and negatives. I did notice that they did partake in a rather LARGE website overhaul so perhaps this is a sign of increased interest in customer satisfaction.

Ordered a tuner, gave me a very nice discount and shipped very fast. i had many questions about the tuner/options ect and he answered back usually in a day. Very nice and very helpful!

Question: If I order the (FRP, not carbon fiber) winglets from Viva Performance (http://www.vivaperformance.com/front...ets-s60r-v70r/) do they receive them from CarbonFiberWerks and then ship to me or do they already have them in stock?

No, we do not source our products from Henry at CarbonFiberWerks. We source our CF and FRP products directly from the manufacturer.
