Finally got my spacers and extended lug nuts in... mounted the Advantis Hybris wheels and then gave her a bath.

Hooked it up to VIDA. It's not the sleeve. It's the AOC pump. Good thing FCP is running a $$ off promotion. I'll be using the lifetime warranty for the AOC filter and fluid that I replaced when I first got the car.

can't believe i'm actually going to say this: hurray for just being the AOC pump? although, in the '07, doesn't that mean you have to drop the prop shaft?

As far as I know you'd have to drop the shaft no matter the year. I parted an '05 SR this past spring and recently serviced the AOC on my '06 SR and to get the pump motor off I had to drop it off both. We're also talking about $110+ difference in parts. That frickin pump is expensive.

I would put the lights back to stock but otherwise I like it. 12k for an auto is a little steep though...

First outing in the snow this season. Between the new Michelin Ice-X's and a working AWD there were not too many thrills.

-yuropean custom dash gauge pod with ipd R-style boost gauge.
-do88 IC piping (except the OTE pipe)
      -RaceS60R turbo inlet pipe
      -new silicone vacuum hoses
      -stock replacement upper torque mount
      -coil packs

I dropped my boost gauge when I first bought it last year. Come to find out upon running my car that my values are totally erroneous. My gauge is definitely busted, but I reached out to IPD so I'm working in getting a replacement.

All I need is vida and dice and I'm off to contrast tuning for a S2

Can't believe i haven't viewed this R forum yet. Now i want a P2 V70R, i mean a P80 V70R, i mean, i mean, damn this SS site and car lust is taking a strong addiction to the next level and wanting more. Next i will want a 240 GLT and recreate a tribute car....... the supposedly only forest green Turbo (my mom bought new in 83 or 84) imported to the states that year.
I think i need to go on some camry forums for desensitization therapy.

Buying/selling/dealing with cars gets tiring. It cures itself and teaches you to be happy with what you have. I'm finally at that point. I have zero interest in adding any more toys to the fleet until/unless I arrive at a time when I have a lot more time and money to throw around, although I would buy a daily when/if I end up in a situation where I actually have to drive every day.

Retirement, kids gone, bored of watching TV, and hopefully some money in the bank. That's when things could get crazy for us, provided were still healthy and strong enough to break rusted nuts. Meaning true rusted bolts and nuts, not our nuts, but they will probably rusted too by then.

Ha yeah there ya go. TV sucks. Just don't get so many you don't have time to enjoy them lol. I used to want all the caRs and then I realized it was way more fun when my friends started buying them.....not only were they not my problem, we were also coming up with more excuses to hang out lol. I learned a lot about cars and life from getting in a bit too deep so I don't really regret it, but I definitely spent more time on it than I should have.

Just got tracking number from ceika about my coilovers, hopefully will have them installed this weekend!!
They were a pretty darn good company to deal with they triple checked all of the r mounting points and measurements with me before making them so here's hoping they work out right!

wow. I never thought there'd be a day a Guangzhou company would be shipping coil overs directly to US at USD 2,000. How are you going to warranty any of this? Like shipping one shock from PDX to CAN is probably going to cost $100

Yes they do the shipping info says it left Taichung Taiwan yesterday afternoon and it was at customs at 1 pm today. Pretty insane they do such fast free shipping on a almost 60 pound box.
Even funnier they have a few different customer service reps stationed around the world and they almost always have one available. I mostly talked to Gauthier who it seemed was in Europe somewhere based on when the replies would come in.
Super plesent all around to deal with.

      Mine were about 1k,
They were super thorough with asking for measurements I'm assuming so they don't have to deal with that, they have a warranty for a year I believe that covers shipping costs. But hopefully won't have to use that

Noice. I was just in Taipei last month. Good to know the factory is in Taiwan and only the sales office in Hong Kong.

You saved a ton over kw coilovers!

Let’s talk about the bbk though. With non standard rotors and pads you’d have to order replacement directly from Taiwan forever? Including heavy-arse rotors?

The rotor's are two peice, you only order the rings, Pads they give you the OEM number so they're are a few options which is nice. I do plan on getting thier 8 piston BBK for the front and just a two peice rotor conversion for the rear.

Right that made me feel a bit better, plus their customer service reps don't speak broken English like some others I've contacted before .
