22,500 service - S&S. Oil changed with full synth. Rear rotor and pads replaced (wearing unevenly). They're going to re-dye the driver's front seat as I'm experiencing some wear on the seat cushion itself (have to schedule).
Attended the Paramus NJ meet. Nice drive up the NJ TP!

Technically not something I did to the car: I watched "101 Ways (The Things a Girl Will Do to Keep Her Volvo)" from 2000. Quirky little movie.

Went to dealer last Tuesday bc TPMS light was on. Found that front right was at 32 psi, while others were 39, 41, 42 psi. Got it aired up and went on my way. This past Saturday was driving home (~200 miles after dealer visit) and TPMS light comes on again, after dealer and other tire stores are closed. Examine the tire closely and find a nail in the very inside tread. This morning I went to Discount Tire, where they informed me it was not repairable. Tread on other tires was at 7/32 after 11,300 miles, so even though I could have only changed 2 I decided to get 4. Even with Volvos awd, I was told changing 2 would not be an issue. Because i want a good all-season tire I was looking at Continental DWS, but they advised me to go with Yokohama yk580. They said it had a stronger sidewall, better traction, and would get better gas mileage. They are also "warrantied" to 45,000 miles. Initial impressions were a smooth, quiet ride, but nothing too different than my old contis. I did, however, squeal the tires significantly when cornering sharply coming home, something my old ones didn't do. I'll have to throw it around a few round-a-bouts this week to get a really good feel, and will post after.
Car is at dealer today for re-dye job on driver seat. The edges of the front panel (on top of seat cushion) are losing color. I noticed it when I was going to treat all the leater with the Volvo Leather Treatment.
Got to drive a loaner 2013 T5 AWD. Doesn't seem to have quite the feeling of power of my 2012 T5 (FWD). Mapping of throttle/transmission seems a bit different. Seems to hold gear to higher rev. Otherwise not a bad car.

I used D, S, and "shiftmatic".
I have a feeling the transmission/engine were still learning because it felt much better the next day.

37,500 S&S service along with replacement of the crome on steering wheel. There was always an edge at the bottom but it was never sharp enough to cut me as others have reported. I figured I'd get it looked at while I still had S&S. No questions asked, they just did it.
Time to start looking at tires...

Put my sticker on as well, it took quite some time getting it from Polestar, like 3+ months. Ended up getting two welcome packages from them so now I have spare when the first one disappears (parking on the street). So far, pretty happy with the performance, ended up taking both the car & wife on a round trip St Louis - Charlotte (1600 miles) and shortly thereafter St Louis - Chicago (~600 miles). Can't complain about the performance nor the gas mileage since low gas mileage has a tendency to be self inflicted...

Shut off dtsc and put in sport mode. You ever have one of those dogs that when on the leash you knew if he had the slightest hint that you werent holding on tight he was gone and you with him? Yea, like that.

Road trip up the Central California coast. Took highway 1 south from Santa Cruz
through Monterey and Carmel to our final destination of Big Sur. Stopped for the
sites, walked on the beach and had some lunch. Nice day and a great way to beat
today's inland heat wave.
Passed one of those windy road signs and under it were the words "Next 74 Miles".

What are some good, and fairly priced lowering springs for a 2013 s60 T5 FWD? I have been looking but I haven't been able to find any, am I just not looking good enough or is there really not really anything out there yet that fits this car?
Maybe Eibach and front struts from a car with Dynamic suspension:

I just picked up my new V60 at the dealer yesterday after waiting several weeks for it to come in. Took it for some cruising around town and running errands today.. I'm so happy to have it!

I finally upgraded the tires on my R-Design to the Continental ExtremeContact DWS and added the IPD rear sway bar about two weeks. So far so good with both new additions to the RD. The car definitely feels flatter going into corners and stays planted with less body roll from the rear end. I haven't really pushed it hard yet because I want to break in the tires a little bit more.WP_20140617_001

Under full WOT: 1st gear is at the advertised 14.7psi Polestar says, but 2nd-6th gears hold around 16-18psi depending on conditions; Volvo/Polestar definitely under estimate what these cars put out. While I had the car in for the tires and sway bar, they also did my regular service (oil change) and I had the Tech go over all my connections/hoses to make sure there were no leaks and everything checked out fine.
