IMO the rims need to be smaller, or the fascias/side skirts need to be lower. This is a sports wagon, not an SUV.

Those are the 20s that come with the Polestar, my proportion might be off slightly. The OEM side scuff plates don't hang low but something aftermarket from ERST would.

Yeah, I know. It was kinda stuck out to me why Polestar decided on such big rims, 19's or 18's are plenty big to me. Though, maybe that side photo makes the car look taller than it actually is?

I have to disagree, owning one its perfect ride height for the US....my old R used to catch curbs all the time, even getting on and off my driveway was a challenge, I'd have to enter and exit at an angle, and the concrete blocks in parking bays, they were a nightmare, and avoided like the plague....there is of course a stance required for this kind of car, but everyday usability needs to be included...the old R was too low IMHO.

Sorry for the delay, got pics of picking my rebel blue V60, the other S60 P* from the dealer (winglets not installed yet), and the first bath with 20% tint and xpel clear bra done. Getting winter wheels installed Wednesday. Just a few more miles till 1000km and I can really open it up!

Foxy, did you get your car in Sept, Oct or Nov.?

Ugh. I'm not looking forward to the day I do so too. I was pretty surprised to read in the manual a statement about not taking it to an automated car wash for several months because the paint is not yet cured. But was very glad I was recommended by Volvo not to do it. So as the salty caked-on sticky mud of Vermont needed to come off lest it cause other problems on the new paint, I hand washed it in 40 degree weather early December (I used very warm water and rubber gloves; it wasn't too bad).

I got it 5. November. So i waited 2 months. I thought this was enough. But I dont think the result would have been different if I waited longer.
I think this is just the problem with this colour. I am not willing to hand wash the car all the time. And even if you wash it by hand, there probably will be scratches anyway.

That sucks. My car will NEVER see an automated carwash. And when I take it to a manual carwash I only use water, then soap, and then water again (so no brush that other people use to clean their dirty cars).
If I want to clean it thoroughly I'll just spend a couple of hours on it and have a back ache for the rest of the day The result is worth it.

Nice! You cut the Polestar diffuser or is there rear hitch option that circles under it?

So yesterday morning after coming home from work I just happen to look at my front wheel and see a lugnut missing Called dealer and they said to just make sure the rest are torque'd and bring it up. They did a great job taking care of it and gave it a hand wash for me. All the other lugnuts were torque'd okay so we are not sure if someone tried to grab the wheels and stopped when they saw the locking lugnuts or what. I kind of doubt theft attempt because it either sits in my garage or in a gated, fenced, secure lot. In any case I got a picture of the winter wheels finally:

I also got a universal fit trunk mat made by WeatherTech from Target for $50. While it doesn't cover the last 2" by the rear seat I like the weight and feel of it better than the factory one for my dog when he rides back there. Took about 20 minutes to cut and the fit is pretty good.

Washed the rain and dirt away...

Wanted to wash it without swirls and getting cold and wet...
Griot's Spray-on Car Wash Kit is outstanding. *Took 30 minutes.

Huh? You spray that stuff on and then just wipe it off without water?? All the sand and dirt is not going to leave scratches then??

I would of course hosed it down to rinse off any mud, sand etc. caked on.
It would then be just like it had been rained on.
Then I would use the Griot's Kit the including the micro-fiber cloths for "no swirls" ; still not getting all wet with soap and water...
