Even an XC90 from a yard that has DSTC will have that part. Well - that's if you have that option. I think he found a series of part numbers in VIDA and models that had the matching piece but in differing part numbers.
That's what Scottish pulled for me. It wasn't a bad install.

Getting the airbag off the JY car is usually the hardest part, if it's an S60!

Wife took the Volvo out for the first drive since the brake change. Looks like I somehow managed to get air in the lines while I was compressing the pistons and she had no brakes. Maybe after I pulled some fluid from the reservoir to make room, and then when I pumped the brake to reseat the pads? Who knows.

Also, my stock brake calipers are now rubbing ever so slightly on the inside of what I assume are my stock 15Ēs now that they have new pads in them.

I said the same thing when I saw it. Always check for clearance, even if you think it marginally fits - metal expands when heated.

Incredible inline 6, I put over 650K Km on it, carbs, switched out the dual Zeniths for Weber years back. Ever deal with Rusty C. Rustys parts in your area? good guy & source, used to help keep the Mercedes Veterans group going with an annual BBQ.

I will check what contact I have for Mr Cullens, The older hand built MBZ's were incredible cars, the cars that built their reputation! I see a W108 in a movie or such and want to get it back into the restoration plan. I bought it from the orig owner I used to sail with in CA, it is a Euro car he bought in Holland prior to moving to the states.
The 220SE is a very special car, same engine & injection as the Gull Wing cars, I hate to say mine has been stored on a carport and not in a garage, the Porsches and motorcycles (drivers) have the garage. Will drop you a PM

Pumped in 13.5 gallons of 93 octane and took a short drive to enjoy the delrin subframe bushings and the R front sway bar. Open the windows and sunroof, enjoy the cool air and crank the music! Realizing how much I missed driving it since the end of July. The Titan is a 6k lb sledgehammer. The V70 is closer to a scalpel!

Fixed my spring clips on the front after I originally thought it was air in the brakes. Lesson learned.

Haven't seen a huge difference yet. But, I'm slowly "expanding the envelope"!

It's okay, I jumped on the bumper and there's still room to go lower.

Pulled the right rear seat belt buckle because it wouldn’t latch and you couldn’t press the button down. Split the case and cleaned out dog hair and goo from previous owner, now everything functions properly. Wet-sanded down the faded, now pink, release button and currently waiting for this dang tropical storm to be done so I can hit it with a coat of clear UV protectant, then put it all back together again.

I also pulled my radio to resolder a capacitor that is preventing it from turning on. I made this repair once, but not well enough.

Cross posting this issue to get more community input. Me7 engine and car:

Did a dw300c fuel pump because of an apparent lean out/knock issue thats arisen....was not the fuel delivery....

Upper engine harness is a disaster (we stripped all the loom remnants and tape to inspect the wiring condition).

It seems like the coils may be freaking out under anything over a pound of boost?

Have pinging and knock, has to be incorrect ignition since the plugs and coils are fine (4k old at that). Started to not even idle. Just a total sh*tshow. Misfire/signal low on cylinder 3 was eventually thrown in vida. And then it wouldnt even stay running. So the loom was taken apart and checked, found to be just totally crap. Pulled all the wires off eachother, cleared all codes in vida and then it ran fine.....drove it home.

Anyone have any suggestions other than or in addition to replacing the coil harness?

What did you do to your wagon today?

Did the rear door washer upgrade ala @antherzol. Volvo upgrade called Taxi door shim. Cost $0.60 CAD.
      Volvo cost $12.00 each.

I still have room to extend if needed.
Replaced cabin filter with mahle LAO 54. Itís a beefy sucker. Still 1/2 price from Volvo OEM.

New engine air filter, Hengst as I found it behind my other stuff whilst cleaning.
Not sure if I want to use my K&N. havenít used it on XC yet. Did use it on my S60 for ages with no issues.

      Have read different opinions.

How could you even drive far enough to do that much damage? That would have been grinding immediately.

Think I might do all of my buckles.

Left is the one I refinished. Need to figure out the gray/black part.
