Sweet! Our 02 V70 NA was the most comfortable to ride car ever! Even the color is the same.

07 xc70 got an oil/filter change with 0W30 Pennzoil Euro LX. Reattached an inner tie rod end boot that had come loose. And tried to identify an electrical item that was dangling loose behind the bumper.

Discovered that the mounting holes for a P2 XC90 DIM are different from all the other P2 models. Had an 07 XC90 black anodized DIM who's mileage was in sync with my V70's mileage. Went to swap this afternoon and no go. Not even close enough to attempt to modify it. Bummer. My current black anodized DIM is 811 miles less than the actual mileage.

Other than that, I gave it a thorough defrost to get the 1/8" of ice off all the windows. Better than dealing with it in the morning.

How wide are those Sirius wheels? Trying to find a 7.5 x 16 that looks decent.

      16x7

I think you’d have to venture into Borbet offerings to find a 7.5 wide that’s not a 17”

I don't understand why people complain about AWD in XC70. In the first photo you can actually see how it plowed through the snow. It stopped only because the tires hit the iced stream under the snow.

Oh yeah, you were definitely plowing. You can see the skid plate was rubbing that whole time. I love the AWD. My first winter experience with my previous S60R sold me on Volvo AWD.

Got a break from the dealership today. Went in to get some replacement wipers and also inquired about getting replacement lug bolts for my 2010 V70. The bolt collars have all swollen and the ystay stuck in the damned wheels continuously. Parts manager asked if I would be ok with the version that they have on the new vehicles. If I was he said he had about 500 of them from clients asking for security lugs. He said dealership had had issues with the spare ones rattling around in the trunk and clients would come back complaining so they ended up just keeping the extras.

Put on 340 miles of dirt and salt!
Gave it some "Italian tune-ups". Rarely get to full throttle in my daily driving. So, went to manual mode on the AW55 and pulled it wide open to the redline on every on ramp and after exiting toll booths. My wife wasn't too thrilled.

Nice. My original one looked the same when I cracked it open. I was able to swap it out without completely removing the bumper. Just removed the one Headlight wiper and the 2 bumper bolts then the one fender bracket had to be loosened. Saved me from breaking the clips and had plenty enough room to work on it.

Resealed leaking ErieVovo angle gear. It had good splines, didn't want to send it back for replacement and use Tundra as a daily driver while waiting.

Put a new Bosch MAF in, idle is down from 1000 to 700 and check engine lights still cleared after 20 or so miles. Hopefully it stays off

Haha, I know that feeling! My wife wasn't too thrilled with me doing some evasive driving ducking a road rager (I still don't know what that dude's deal was, probably 'roid rage)

Oh yeah, that new pcv system just definitely got a run for its money. I went about 60 miles so far with the new one on with no issues seen so far, and I can hear the intake a bit more as well. Idle is still consistent at 700 and a lot quieter than it was. I think that MAF solved the issue. My 2003 had to get that thing changed like 3-4 times in its lifespan with me, with a different code every time. Same symptoms though, starts with a high idle. Best part is that the MAF for the earlier 2001 is the same as some p80s, a lot cheaper than the one I had in the 2003... like 10% of the price from dealer if I remember correctly

Check engine light came back lol
      O2 sensors are next

Will this fit? Any difference from the 2nd link? The last 6 digits on my vin are 072247. It says it only fits higher chassis numbers, but I've seen FCP be wrong on fitment before.

Picture under the lights in downtown Corning, NY. Fortunately, dark enough to hide how filthy the car is after almost 800 miles of driving.

Installed a Snaab Intake Pipe, Snaab 3" catless Downpipe, Meyle HD Endlinks all around, Stoptech Front pads and IPD lower torque mount on my T5! Downpipe sounds really good paired with the IPD catback. Sound is much throatier and aggressive with the new downpipe. Noticable power gain also, no traction in 1st gear! Also did my vaccum lines while I was in there.

Would highly recommend these parts. Ordered the downpipe and intake from VIVA performance, excellent customer service, thanks Connor!

Let me know if you get a p0420 code. I got one when I went catless with a Yother downpipe

Did it work before? If so, check the little nipple that’s embedded in the base of the arm. Most people crush it not knowing how to handle it. My Indy warned me (and showed me how) when I had to change my broken rear wiper arm. Not sure if you can still buy it. If you remove that and cycle the wash and there is no fluid coming out could be the pump or pinched tubing.

      Good luck.

The check valve might be bad. It's in the fluid line in the hatch.
