Check the oil for milky color. Pull the spark plugs look for white residue. Could be headgasket on its way.

Ok so I went in and filled it, only took about 1/5 liter of mixed coolant and water. It was sitting at min when I looked. Itís warmer than it was this morning, does this coolant contract or something when itís cold? Iím lost.

Yes, the coolant will expand and contract with temperature. But, it should only be an inch or so in the reservoir.

Alright, itís definitely been leaking a bit since it was at max before. Itís been a few weeks since it was changed with oem though (before the road trip to Florida)
But Iíve always had an issue at season changes tbh. Always something different too lol

Edit: warmed up after we filled it to the max line itís now almost over the letters ďmaxĒ.

It's not uncommon, I had to do one on my 03 at 170k a few years ago. I remember it was leaking coolant into one cylinder and it was obvious just by looking at the plugs. One was whiter than all the others.

On the other cars I've had coolant randomly disappear then topped it off and was fine for several months. Just wait and see I guess.

The coolant level sensor in these cars is very sensitive. At the point it triggers a low coolant warning, even just running the car for a few seconds will raise the level enough to turn it off.

I have a pinhole leak somewhere. You can kinda smell coolant from under the hood when the cars been running a while. Every ~6 months or so I'll get a low coolant warning and have to add a few ounces.

Washed and waxed the OR this weekend for the winter. First time using a foam cannon at home, less than impressed and ended up just 2-bucketing it anyway. Operator error I am sure, I was racing sundown so not much time to fiddle.

But holy cow did the tire cleaner stuff do some work on the wheels!

Did you use Volvo parts or aftermarket? Aftermarkets just won't last.

Anyways, I always keep spares with the vehicle. Had a window drop out once on a road trip and I was grateful to have them.

I've never seen a rusty p2 yet, I think they undercoat them very well for the winters over in varmland

Got my rolling motors 3" catted downpipe a few days back, '98 s70 got finished today (passed inspection with a stored CEL code! these things are like VW's on emissions) so I dropped it off to get put on, along with a new air/fuel sensor for the CEL the wagon has.
I'll post a sound clip of the rolling motors downpipe with the ipd catback in a week or so when I get it back.

Also working on obtaining the last few pieces before the wagon gets tuned, which is a big intercooler & piping kit and methanol injection.
For the intercooler kit it's between snabb or d088, I was leaning towards snabb because they have an optional TIAL recirc kit as well....and I've heard of d088 parts having a tendency to crack/leak?
For the meth injection I saw an AEM kit, but also saw that snow performance sells kits in stage 1-3 on VIVA.

      Any recommendations for either?
Also for Meth injection / tune and all the upgrades so far, should I look at upgrading fuel injectors? I don't want to really go as far as shimming the block for more power, if the t5's are sufficient I'd like to just keep them stock, but if I could get more performance up to that 300 or so hp mark it would be nice to grab better ones.

I've seen one. The guy who posts here from Europe....he's got a ton of lights on his car. Roof, bumper, etc. I can't remember his name. But wherever he is, they have winters 100x worse than we have here.

      Nice.
Only problem I see is that it's slightly downhill...

Do88 kits fine. It actually fits and next friday it'll be cheaper. The cracking issue is with their p80 radiator.

Picked up my new ride yesterday... Ď07 2.5T. It has BC Racing Coilovers, does anyone have any experience to share? I really like the lowered stance but need to find the right setting for a smoother ride (if there is such a thing with these).

Sell them and get wagon specific H&R springs and bilsteins.

Loved them on my S60. Had them allmost on the softest setting and the ride was great.
