      2008 XC90 V8 SPORT or 2009 XC90 V8 R-Design or 2011 Executive

      I'm in the market for a 2008 XC90 V8 SPORT, a 2009 XC90 V8 R-Design or a 2011 XC90 Executive.

I sold my 2011 Executive recently ... and already miss it (but do not regret it as it needed some $$$ work!)

Anybody have one that's for sale or know someone?

      Must have:
      - must have V8
      - no red exterior
      - must have off black interior
      - color preference is 477-Electric Silver, or 455-Titanium Grey

Nice X5, im surprised you want to switch from that to an XC. Must be something unique about the XC? the 7seats maybe?

Having had an X3 in the family those BMWs are loveley cars, I would love to have one just cant afford a newer X5, XC90 V8 however was right up my alley at the price I got mine.

      Why the switch ...

      Why no red ...

Personal preference guys ... although the choice on keeping the BMW X5 vs driving a red car is much, much easier ...

The thing I like the most about the red is you never see it. But, it's an acquired taste, for sure. As a Nebraska fan, it's a bit easier..

To paraphrase a poster on another forum I own a white S80 with a V8 and my red XC90 V8 owns me. I really love the color and it isn't crazy to keep clean. Time will tell how well it handles the Florida sun.

It has to be pretty hard to be a Nebraska fan now ...i do feel your pain though, as a Michigan fan it sucked being down for 7 yrs.

      Yea, especially today. GO HAWKEYES!

Pardon, but the timing was too good.

I want to add that I think the red looks very good on the XC90.

Tommy Armstrong is a Hawkeye fan, he has to be. That's the only explanation I can come up with why he loves completing passes to your players.

Yeah, why the switch? The X5 is on my short list to replace the Sport. My wife's only concern is they have a loaner car program (so, no Tahoe or Yukon lol).

Never said anything about switching ... I said, my X5 "may be" for sale, but it no longer is. Changed my mind.

After looking and evaluating a half a dozen XC90 V8, including several '07 and '08 Sports, BMW's simply cannot be replaced by a Volvo ... They're just not in the same class ... (go ahead, flame me!).

But ... a Volvo can be added as a second car for a different purpose. So I'm still looking.

      Thanks!

Already called ... extremely friendly person answers the phone, but you'll never find out who the owner is, or what the service history on it is ... Car is shrouded in mystery.

Here's the VIN: YV4CT852891513174, for the next person who wants to try ...

      Anybody have access to Carfax?

I just put a deposit on a 2008 XC90 V8 Sport in Titanium Grey. One owner, fully serviced on time by dealer. Drives, rides and shifts as it should. Also has NAV and Bi-Xenons with BLS.

Let me know if you're serious about the one in Worcester and I'll be happy to run a carfax for you. (Have a couple left after finding my V8)

Just coming back to Volvo after too long in a big American SUV. Love this V8 sport as it feels more like my Audi allroad twin turbo than an SUV.

      Congratulations!

Thanks for the offer to run the Carfax, but I'll pass on the one in Worcester.

Where did you find yours? Private sale, dealer?

There's an 08 v8 with 90k going for 7500 near me I'm considering taking a look at it.

Found mine at a small local dealer. Now that I have a set of Nokian WRG 3 SUV's mounted and a Thule Sonic XL, I'm ready for the winter!

I found a 07 Sport V8 I've really been considering. It's has some oil related issues that the small dealership has been working on. I'm trying to hang in there and wait for them but I'm starting to get worried. Any thoughts?

I have a short list of about half a dozen XC90's with V8's (including Sports and R-Designs) that I have amassed over the last 2 or 3 weeks in searching nationwide. None of them meet my requirements for one reason or another. I'd be happy to share the list with you. PM me for more info.

It already sold. I emailed them to go see it I figured for that money it was worth a look
