320mm Brake Upgrade Kit Parts Consolidation

Reading through 320mm brake upgrade kit threads for the P80 and realized that there was no consolidated thread anywhere for all the pieces. This is an attempt to change that. If I missed something, please chime in and the sticky top post will be updated. Looks like you can get a kit assembled for about $450 plus tax and shipping where applicable. Not a bad alternative to porsche/brembo kits for a fraction of the cost. You must have 17" wheels to run these. This is not an endorsement for any of these companies or products, just a listing of what you need to add these to your P80 car if you want to go beyond 302mm brakes.

Thanks for putting this info together. Hopefully it'll get pinned.

Actually took longer to read the threads than collect the info. Which is why I was surprised that there was no consolidated thread anywhere and as a result decided to just assemble the necessary information in our forum.

thanks a lot for this. Just went to do a wheel bearing last night and realized brakes are toasted so i'm ordering up all this stuff now and you made it so much easier by putting this together! this needs to be pinned so it's easier to find then going a few pages back to find.

Looks like there's a P2 rotor that's the same size just with a 5mm different offset. But it has the correct center bore.

P2

P1

Since the caliper rides on a slider, 5mm shouldn't make any real difference. Time to find out!

For comparison here's the stock p80 302 rotor specs

And a comparison picture of rotor/caliper size p80 280mm vs p1 320mm

Stumbled upon this thread since I m considering a 320 setup. good to see all info together.

yet, would that p2 320 rotor with 5mm offset work or not? caliper wise and spacer wise? Don't really want to machine rotors.

wheels would be 7x17 satelites or 7,5x17 comets.

No. It's too thick.

The only spot of confusion I am finding, the caliper bracket needs to have the countersunk hole drilled correct? Some say yes some say no.

Yes. But as I found out from running this kit it is incredibly sh*t. You will immediately feel the weight in the steering and the braking power drops off quickly as the pads wear into wedges.
