Does anyone wish the R interior came in other colors?

Anybody else with that the R came in interior colors other than Blue, Beige, and Orange?

Such as Black, Grey, Red, Etc.?

Just wondering what other people thought... I'd personally like my interior to be Black...

black would be just a bit too boring. Red might be fun.

of course, there's yellow...always worth another 25 extra hp.

      Color combinations would be nice...

Not that I'd select this particular combination, but it's nice. Is this particular combo available outside the U.S.? Personally, I find black boring, too...but I still love the Nordkap.

that's why I got my T5 in a split indigo blue cloth/grey leather for some contrast on my blue car....which is in the repair shop now after being hit by a deer and sustaining $8,500 worth of damage!!!

Yes, not everyone wants to shout "Look at ME!" with their choice of colors.

I would have loved to be able to choose a black leather interior. Those who think that's boring can just stay the heck out of my car

I fully support offering unusual choices for those who want them, but why force everyone to choose one?

You could have chosen Gobi, which is very nice. There certainly nothing unusual about that color.

Oh, and gray is a horrible color for leather IMHO...especially BMW's gray. The color always reminds me of the cheap vinyl seats in a New York City cab...but hey, that's what makes the world interesting.

A true "Buckskin" would be great.
      This goes for ALL automakers.
It used to be common, now only really high end cars offer it and it usually is extra $$ like Atacama.

Well... you just never know what ol' Santa Clause might bring

Red. Red, red, red leather, like on M3s or the new GTOs. And no color matching the carpets (well at least where your feet go, that doesn't make sense).

Make the blue a little bluer inside. Black with white seats would be interesting. The available choices are quite pretty, however, but 10 years from now when my R has 8 billion miles on it and I can do whatever I want to it without taking a resale hit, I'll put red leather in it. Black cars with red interiors are the best. Or red with black interior, though Red/Nordkap is cool.

Thanks a LOT, now I will never be able to look at grey seats the same way again!

As far as I'm aware Volvo stopped with this color a few years ago in Europe.
Downside of this design was that the black was leather and the beige was cloth..
If all were leather it would have been a very nice option I think.

Well, that's ok. The red is a little too "fresh blood" for me. Darken it a bit. Or perhaps make it black/red. Also, the door inserts should be black in that center piece where you rest your arm, and the carpet black as well.

      Linear Burn. Hue and darken.
a little rough, but darker. I'm doing the armrests black right now, but I don't have much time at the moment. Someone else can do it, or I can in a few hours.

I am all about it! I really like this color I will have to check some places that I know around here and see how much it would cost to get this done for real.

Now... can someone show me a white or black R to go w/ those red seats?

Personally I love these color combos:

      red(int) w/ white(ext)
orange(int) w/ blue(ext)... someone should do atacama w/ laser blue

That combo yellow/black(int) would go nicely w/ maybe a blue or black exterior.

I like the existing seat color choices. I had graphite in my last car and the nordkap is still dark but at least has some color to it. Dark red or burgundy would be interesting options too.

If I had an R with gobi, I'd spend that to make it red

The red seats would look awesome with a black, white, silver or red exterior.
