Finally going through the mountain of files and documents that came with the car... It's amazing, I have every document to do with this car from day zero... Including the information packet from his trip to Gothenburg to see the car being made... Here's a pic of the option and purchase price... So fun...

Thanks... The trip was great... And a week of driving it around has done nothing but put a massive smile on my face...

Plan is to put the stock springs back in asap. Way way too many issues with a lowered car and **** SF roads...I love the lowered look, but it's just too impractical...

I picked mine up in Portland then did a trip back home in Eastern Idaho; Really wish I had the time to have done a proper introduction trip and do some mountain driving like it looks like you did.

Here in Idaho, I feel stock is about as low as I'd go. Too many potholes, steep driveways and I use this car in the winter too. Couldn't imagine how much more cursing would be done with a lowered car, let alone in SF.

Finally... I'm in... New V70R owner...

Today I put the stock springs back in...I know some people will be wondering wtf... But as I've said in other threads, it was just too harsh on the IPD springs for me, and I couldn't run it in comfort mode as the shocks couldn't control the rebound above 15mph... Driving around in sport all the time coupled with the spring rate and SF roads...ugh

I'm super happy with the ride now... Stock is wonderful... Its like saying 40 is the new 30...

I also like the look... A lot... It now has the proper rake... And I'm not terrified of speed bumps and parking lot entrance...

      Pretty happy all around...

Now to just enjoy for a bit...

That's awesome. Just locked up one of similar age in miles and am very happy! I agree with the stock spring decision for daily use. Love the color!

I'm not a huge fan of anthracite wheels, but those look great on a Flash! Congrats!

Thanks..I totally agree.. Not normally my first choice... But they really do go with the Flash... I'm not convinced I like the red painted callipers... Those may get a different treatment in the future...

I like all 3 of them!

Sounds a bit like my 'story', started with a Dark Olive Pearl 855 T5R, then bought a Nautic Blue Pearl Classic V70R FWD and bought it a younger brother with the Titanium Grey V70R.

That 245 kicks ass, would like to see my girlfriend in one

Not sure I dig the wheels on the Flash Green though, I personally prefer stock look with pegs.

Thanks! I miss the 245 the most... By the end.. It was so raw and ridiculous to drive... It would make such a fun track/weekend car now...alas its out in Quebec now being restored again...

Nice eyes! 2012 version... Bought it last year after I moved here to SF... My Cove G-Spot isn't suited to the trails here... But the TB is amazing... One of the best bikes I've ever owned.

I'll be sure to take pictures of The Wookey with the winters on it...(stock pegs )

Haha yeah. I got something else for that. Just no pic on my phone and it's not at my house at the moment.
This Rocky is light and a great XC bike and I use for going out with the GF on more mild rides. We just got her a nice Cannondale hardtail.

Ok. And it looks like they only come in two sizes. I’m guessing yours are 19 inch ones.
