'04 Sapphire Black Atacama M66 S60R with bodykit
I have two R's and due to priorities I need to let go of this one. Lots of time and money put into this car by both me and the previous owner.
Background: Timing belt snapped and previous owner dropped in a new (used) B5254T4 R motor and did an overhaul. I bought it and replaced the Haldex pump, new upgraded Xemodex CEM (common problem on '04's), new MAF, OEM Volvo bodykit side piece, injectors just to name a few. I had planned on a stage 2 tune for it, and it is 100% ready for that - the downpipe just needs to be installed. Cosmetic issues are curb rash on wheels and a rough Atacama interior. It is quite mechanically sound, the only code is for a mirror motor.
It has 133k on the odo, all the new parts within the last 8k miles:
-Previous owner dropped in an R motor with about 100k miles
-New clutch, flywheel, slave cylinder
-New timing belt etc.
-New IPD LCA's
-Nicely done custom FMIC
-IPD boost gauge w/pod
-Upgraded CEM from Xemodex
-Resealed AG w/new collar sleeve
-GROM aux input
-IPD poly upper and lower torque mounts
-New fuel injectors and fuel filter
-New BPS and TCV
-Nice custom short shifter and pedals
-Vacuum lines and PCV done
-New OE Volvo lower door trim
-GSX ram air plate
-New cabin air filter
-ALL new fluids (brake, tranny, haldex, AG, engine, coolant) except rear diff
-turbo oil return line seal
-intake and exhaust manifold gaskets
Plenty of other maintenance done on this car...
-Atacama is rough, I've been told that with a thorough reconditioning and re-stitching it would look nice again - peeling fabric on A-pillar
-A few scrapes and dings, nothing major, ugly where the winglets used to be (has full body kit except winglets)
-steering wheel squeaks when turned, only noticeable at low speeds. I was told there was something minor done incorrectly when the clockspring was put in but it functions 100% properly, just sounds annoying.
-doesn't have fogs, one electric mirror motor is faulty
It sits on 18" pegs with a lot of curb rash but they're straight, one is a relatively new titanium silver the rest are graphite. Wrapped in Yokohama YK580's with about 20k on them. One caliper has a scrape in the paint.Brakes have good life left except the rear rotors which should be replaced relatively soon. Suspension all around good condition, sound system/ac/sunroof/headlights work great.
This car has been thoroughly gone over by two consecutive owners and is extremely sound, despite having a few quirks. The only components I can think of that are of common concern on these cars that hasn't been replaced would be 4c struts and ignition coils, which are all functioning perfectly.
Some quick pics. Best and worst wheels shown:
