I am doing some playing around with my DIM on the bench, so no other Volvo modules are connected. I am using either my CAN USB adapter or my Arduino and I notice that after being powered on for only a few seconds, the DIM stops sending messages. There are only (2) CAN IDs coming out of it, but they seem to stop on the same number of messages every time, so it leads me to believe that it shuts itself down because it knows no other modules are connected.
Anyone know a way to keep this alive, as well as the other messages the DIM is looking for?
I can't find a list of the messages that are used. Ironically, I still have some stuff in my own archives for sending messages to the DIM display, which works, but isn't sufficient to keep the CAN BUS alive.
