Ok good. I was getting even more worried by the fact I've never heard of those tires.

It is in OEM, FCA shifters are not directly connected to the trans anymore, itís basically a switch that moves forward and backward.

It has 4Runner floor mats in it. So, I think it's a Toyota product.

But, I will agree that some of those FCA shifters were terrible designs.

Itís a Durango or GC Iíll walkways remember those interior no idea why 4Runner mats are in there makes me think itís a GC and they traded. I will always remember those shifters used to work as a tech for them and they were a pain in the ass.

The 2014-15 GC shifter looks pretty close to that when in park. The Durango is forward and angled down when in park.

      skywolf's wagon hut

Iíve decided to test myself and brought all the cars home for the holidays. This means one of the P2s will be under a cover outside and swap every week or so. So here Springfield is under cover. We will see how this works out.

Christmas with the family. They donít own Volvos but not everyone is perfect.

Looks like two Subies and a Dodge. I guess, as long as they served good food, it's allowed. Did you bring a dish? And, if so, how did you transport it? I see nothing to strap smelly items to the roof rack.

Edit: Also, how is the car cover thing a test of yourself. To see if you don't get too much anxiety from the situation?

I used a huge catering bag for this because we had already cooked foods. Also had gifts and 1.5L bottle of wine in the back.

We brought baked beans and green bean casserole. We had an unconventional Christmas with pulled pork as the main entree lol. Aunt and Uncle picked it up from the Happy Hawg the day before and warmed it in the crock pot.

Yes, the cover is an anxiety test. Storing one at work was always anxiety because I had to keep it moved around, sometimes I wanted to drive the one that was there etc.

So far so good. I bought the best cover CoverCraft sells because only the best for the weegans, right?

Probably need to get some bungee cords.

Yes - I ran out there to fix it, in the rain, wind and lightning. Any decent father would have done that!

2 tarp clips fore and aft with 2 bungee cords prevent that problem.

Really? What brand cover did you buy?

I use covercraft and I can't believe they only come with the grommet in the center to tie it down. It's as if nobody working for that company has ever used a cover. My driveway is angled down so the wind gets up under the car and blows the cover off. Especially when wet. So I came up with that.

I found a cover for 60 bucks on eBay that has 3 straps pre fitted along the bottom to secure it. Pretty decent deal tbh

I've used cheap covers before. They don't last in the weather.

I generally pay about $350-400 per cover, but they have a 3 year warranty. So my last one had a failed seam in the third year and they replaced it for free. To me they've been worth it so far.

I don't do cheap covers either. The Tacoma cover was about $300 and the XC cover is about $400
