No 4-C and it did lower car. If any it feels "taller" but up here in NC mountains, what a difference driving on the fire roads!

Update mirror done on the passenger side. Unfortunately the replacement Mirrors I have are from a non motorized mirror. Requiring a lot of cutting for stuff to fit. Would be curious if this would be easier if it was motorized.
Enough complaining. the end product updates the look of the car.

Holy crap man, who did you get them from and how long ago did you order them? I've had a set on backorder from the Tire Rack for a few months now... the rears were not in stock and have been waiting for them to come from Koni.

      Old and busted...

      New hotness!

V40 instrument cluster, only manual tft I could find. I have a mid update cluster coming that Iíll cannibalize to make fill the surround.

If you do swap over to the tft with VDash, time adjustment takes just a couple clicks.

Be interesting to see how long they last.
I had a set fitted to my S60 T5 many moons ago and they were fantastic initially but then the ride literally went to pieces.
TBH I should have had them investigated by Koni sooner but sadly that car ended up in the carpark in the sky soon after so never confirmed if they were faulty.

Will never be a Rdesign roundabout killer. Just some slight improvements imho. Changing shocks after 10 years could mean a difference but I doubt if changing to OEM versus fancy afternarket would be a big difference. Could be wrong here. Do have respect. Will order Bilstein when I have the money.

At my shop I have a completely stock 2008 xc70 with about 300,000 miles on it that I use for a loaner car. I put Bilstein B4s on all four corners and the car rides fantastic. It soaks up the bumps and doesn't have excessive body role. Driving this car is what inspires me to pursue the suspension further. If you have 100k on your car and feel it's floaty, put on the B4s, I think you will find the car transformed. Best bang for the buck I can think of. I strongly recommend them.

We shall see. I have high expectations but it won't be hard to beat these worn out 100K factory shocks; compression dampening is acceptable but rebound is non-existent. Feels like driving a bouncy two ton moose cloud at the moment.

Today I didnít do anything to my XC70. There is hardly any money coming in these days. So I decided to slide back into my old hobby, got plenty of time again.

Brought it home. First task was to fix the dealer-installed bluetooth. By tearing it out and tossing it in a pile. The module was tucked under the passenger carpet along the side of the footwell and the one of the fuses was looking a little corroded. Probably why it didn't work. That or maybe because it was cheap junk to start with. I replaced it with a $20 bluetooth setup I had laying around that looks way better and streams music. Nice and easy using the aux port in the console. Pretty crazy to think that when this car was built the world was just seeing the iPhone for the first time and nobody had thought of streaming music via bluetooth. Now I just have to change all the fluids and the serpentine belt.

Had a headlight bulb fail. Owned it one day so had to look into how to replace the bulb. I've got to hand it to Volvo, this has to be the most creative use of a tent stake ever!

I think if you do own a V70 this is the only way to go. AUDI RS6 gray and XC60 SPA Exhausts. Not photoshopped.
