      OFFICIAL: S60/V60 Photo Thread

How about thread just showing off our beautiful rides?

Not so much a "how-to" or "What did you do to yours today" type with close-ups of the 4 bolts and a bushing that you replaced this past weekend or the list of oil change and wiper blade replacement tasks...

I'm talking a good ol' show-off - as they look, where they've been, modified or not, clean or not.

      I'll start...

Looks awesome! You should do a writeup on them. Are you on 18s or 19s? I’m assuming they are 18” ixioms but they look bigger somehow. I’m curious if those H&Rs will settle lower over time like my H&Rs did on my GTI over the course of a year, but they look great as-is. Considering a set myself but I wish they went about half an inch lower to match my current drop on KWs which are starting to need a rebuild, hence my thoughts on replacing them with a less expensive spring/ damper setup since I don’t have time to take my car off the road for a coilover rebuild. How do you like them? Did you pair them with factory dampers or something new?

I'm on 19s. I've had them on for a week and a half, and I've put maybe 100 miles on them. I love them so far. The ride hasn't changed for the worse. It's maybe a tad stiffer, but nothing noticeably harsher or worse than the stock Rdesign suspension. I didn't upgrade the shocks, but I may save that for another date. I have noticed throttle response is a little better with the new springs, and she can corner flatter when at speed. I'll have check in the next few days to see if they've settled at all.

Iíve had mine for over 6 months now and havenít noticed they have settled yet. Iíll know more in a month when I put my 19ís on again for the summer. I paired mine with stock rdesign shocks and can say the car is flatter in the corners. I looked at other shocks but after speaking with a friend who tried other shocks he went back to rdesign shocks and said it was the best setup. I would love coilovers but they are too low for the Canadian winters and to harsh, Had them on my audi s4.
