clear the "maintenance due" warning?
apparently dealer forgot to.
Can I do it or can the dealer or Volvo remotely do it? Or is it a trip back to the dealer?
Not being able to remote start in the winter blows.

Reset the Service Reminder
If you had your Volvo in for servicing and your service light was not reset or if your light is on before you are due for maintenance, please follow the steps below to reset the light:
Turn the ignition to position I (please refer to your owner's manual for information on the ignition modes)
Press and hold the OK/Reset button on the left steering wheel stalk
Switch the ignition to position II while still holding OK/Reset button
Wait 10 seconds while still holding the OK/Reset button
Release the OK/Reset button when the information light starts to blink
You will hear a beep when the reminder is reset
If this does not work we will refer you to the Service Department at your Volvo Dealer to have the light reset.
Note: We do recommend you always have your Volvo serviced by an authorized Volvo dealer to ensure the proper parts and procedures are used when caring for your Volvo.

I did find and try the video. NG
I found the other as well, but it seemed to pertain to earlier models.
none the less, I'll gibe that a go. But I suspect, it'll be a trip to the fair.

works on my S90 2018
You may have to try it more than once as mine did not reset on first try but then worked

If the instruction reset fails I found a factory reset in Sensus works.

Which button do you depress? The youtube video shows one on the left spoke of the steering wheel, but the Volvo Support guidance mentions the left steering wheel stalk. Is it the Reset button at the tip of the turn signal lever?

I think it depends n the model year. 16 and after is the steering wheel button. Before 16 is the stalk. I got no beeps, but a flashing "I" in the drivers display. But then I was immediately hyper-drived to Tralfamdore.
