      Amateur Radio Installation

Does anyone have experience installing and using HF and/or UHF/VHF amateur radio transceivers in a first generation XC60? The maximum RF output would be 100 watts. My concern is the possibility of RF affecting or damaging the XC60’s electronic components. Like all newer cars, there are many computer systems for BLIS, adaptive cruise control, city safe, etc. Has anyone experienced problems in this regard? Thanks and 73 WX7HS

Good thought. Personally, I would probably be on 2 meters in the car but I hear you about running 100 watts hf.
These things are built like tanks but you never know.
If you hear anything post it please. 73’s W2ABU. Steve
