      This is neat.
My MB wagon used to turn on the rear wiper if I put the car in reverse and the front wiper was on.
Does the V60 do the same?

I think my 2008 GTI did the same thing. I loved its rear wiper, and that car had so many thoughtful details and Easter eggs like that. That car was an ergonomic masterpiece.

My wife's 2009 Acura RDX automatically starts the rear wipers when the front ones are on and you put the car in reverse. Old technology.

Yes, but does the V60 do it?

I won't be able to check until later this evening when I get back to the train station from work. Hopefully, someone else can chime in before then.

In my 2016 V60 it wipes the rear window if you put it in reverse with the front wipers on... however I don't know if mine will automatically put the rear wiper on with the front at startup to clear condensation/rain as gobluetwo suggested (unless he happened to have it in reverse at the time?).

Nope, I hadn't yet taken it out of park. What I did:
      - Get in, shut the doors
      - turn on engine
      - push right lever up to wipe the windshield once
      - Rear wiper automatically wiped once also

One more. If you press the lock button on the fob and any door or trunk is open, when you close the door or trunk, everything locks and it gives you the lock "beep".

Also if you listen to one more song before you leave your car, once you open the door the music stops.

I know not everyone will agree with this but I like that the headrests are not adjustable. I find it annoying every time I enter my wife's car that I have to adjust the headrest but my volvo never has to adjust and is just comfortable all the time.

      This is gonna sound funny.

But you can’t open the fuel door / fuel up the car when you’re updating maps.

And the car features and functions go down the bare minimum.

Either that or my car is broken.

Has anyone ever used the small shelf-like space under their display screen to store items such as sunglasses ? Normally I'll store the sunglasses inside the center console, map-pocket or back cubby of the waterfall console, but has anybody else ever used the small shelf to temporarily store small items while driving ? When those other compartments are full I'll just use the small display screen shelf.

That's about the only thing I can store there to keep from exiting and ending up on the floor during high lateral-g movements.

My 2012 S60 T5 front seat belt sensors do not have an audible seat belt warning/chime, only the small warning light on dash. But it will chime on the backseat belt sensors when the kids remove their seat belts.
