      Cleaning rust stains

Hi, over the Winter car was covered with tiny metal particles of the road which started rusting, leaving 1-3mm rust stains on the paint. They go off pretty easily scraping with finger nail. But as there are hundreds of them, is there some easier method removing them? Maybe some spray? I reckon WD40 could handle that, but it leaves hard to clean sticky/greasy film

Try using a Paint Decon Spray like Iron Remover from Adams Polishes, Chemical Guys or CarPro. You also may want to Clay Bar the vehicle afterwards as well to fully get the stains out.

The picture below is using Adams Polishes Iron Remover; it turns purplish in color showing you all the Decontamination still on the paint surface.

Thanks, iron remover was great, I just did not have clay. Can it be replaced by something else?

That's awesome that it worked for you. If you are unable to get a Clay Bar Kit from your local retailer, they also sell synthetic clay sponges that you can use while washing like Griots Garage and Mother's.
