Anyone - What got ~ You ~ Heading Down Earth First Mode ? or Carring

My Story most likely starts way, way , way back growing up in Country and in the Adirondack Mtns.

Playing & Running through the Woods like an Indian , swimming like Tarzan , being Native to My Surroundings
Fishing from Sun Rise to Sun Set ~ Rowing Boat ~ some 6 miles 1 way to Fish in Different Spot , By Fishing Buddy was always there to Assist .
Fishing with ~ Gadabout Gaddis ~

Or it May have been Helping Out the Rangers Break New Mountain Trails and Certainly Riding in the Stocking Plane .
( I was the One Pulling the Plug )
on Full Tub of Trout to be Dropped just at the Right Moment as Plane Dropped in 6ft - 12ft off the Water doing about 60 Mph this was Slowest they could Go .
Small Lakes up in the Mountains that Feed down into Larger Lakes - these Smaller Lakes most were only 1/4 Mil. If that Lines with Large Tall trees , so it was Bush Pilots type Dive
Down , Down , Down - Across Lake and Pull Throttle Full On and Yank that Plane Up as Hard as it would Climb , just before a Stall and Peel Off in Banked Turn to Gain more Speed .
Pilot sometimes had to that Twice to get Up Out of these Small Lakes ~ Soon After I started getting into Photography ~

      Lol at the video. "Stop"

Hope no one was standing on those stairs.

Or maybe that was CGI. Good stuff.

Oh yeah, the glass. I think you hit a dull spot on the sledgehammer and got lucky.

The "full tub of trout" has me intrigued. Were they alive? Were you "seeding" the lake with live trout? For fishing? Or to aid in the cycle [of life] (food chain)?

Thanks for sharing. Your locale says TN but sounds like you are describing AK.

The Trout were all 1-2 yr Old ~ Live
Pilot would almost stall the Plane as We Glided in under very Low Power , then Dump .
I Actually had to go down to the Bottom of the Tub Full of Fish around 20" or so - Tub was approx 5ft long to Me it looked 6ft certainly could have been approx 28" wide. ( Seeding ) , but certainly some would not make the Trip
      After the Splash Down ..

Soon as the Tub was Empty , I mean to say I had to Inform the Pilot , when to Pull Up - He wanted all the Fish Out !
He would be Yelling Now , are they out Now , it's getting awful close , WEe have to Clear those Trees , do You see those Freaking Tree , Do I Pull Now !
Now ,Now , Now - Full Power , speed picking , up , Picking , Up -Up - Speed almost there , Full Stick Back Climb Baby Climb Baby He's be talking to to It .
Being a Motor Head early in Life I listen to the Motor as it Struggled more , more , and more to a Point where the Plane almost down to 38-44 mph and He'd Bank Right or Left depending on the Wind ~
Head right back down at the Water - scream Baby Scream Baby - then Pull up as these Lakes are Small and in Deep Woods - up at 5000 ft or more ..so these Cut Throat Trout -could be replenished or natives Trout as they all called them .

Bush Pilots got to love it .. Crazy thing .. I wasn't even Strapped in there was a Rope I could grab onto If went sliding to Fast or to Far .. Ha
I Believe I Ran - Pales for two days from Truck to Lake side , before being asked If I wanted to try the Plane Stocking ~ looking back they needed someone Light Weight , and Not afraid - half to Death ~
I had been up in My Uncles Plane He was Crazy as Hell , and Vanderbilt Plane at the other side of Lake , He once took us to Baseball Hall of Fame in NY just to go for Ride .. Full set of Pontoons on
which had Wheels small one under side - Buzzed the Airport Runway , I mean 5-7 ft Off the Runway the Length then called Tower said , He was going to Land on the Lake which was very close to the Famous Hall of Base ball Players .

Scouts Honor ~ Oh when asked to try out for the Scouts - I quickly said I'll do that If You are able to Prove to me Why I need to do so .
After several Test - We were Tied , so I looked at Scout Master said What Ya got next ?

I Guess If You Near enough to a full blown plate glass manufacture , they will take Clean Glass , but the closest was 500 Plus Miles that was Interested .. seeing those Large Plants have
Rail Loads right to the Automated Furnaces ~ Yet We have "Contractors" Good Size Mind You" ( Not Little Guy ) being Busted for Sucking Sand off the River Bottom in N.J. - had to - Pay Huge Fine - Steeling Sand - which He claims was Natures Free Goods
Nothing is Free - Turned Out the State had placed it there Yrs. earlier for Erosion Control ~ I have Artist Glass for You $45.00 - 5 Gallon Bucket , Ha Most Likely If I had Dump Truck Full @ Time that N.J. Contractor
was Increasing His Concrete Loads - He would have paid $500 for it .. LOL
