Volvo Rear differentials

Hey guys,

I was wondering what kind of differentials volvo used in the rear of their vehicles as well as how much torque they are capable of holding?

Reason being that I am in the process of building a 280z and, after purchasing my XC60, I got to thinking about swapping a volvo rear end into it to handle it's higher engine power.

The Earlier Volvos, up to about '75 used a Dana Rear end,

Dana 27, or Dana 30. I recently removed the VOLVO differential yoke from my '73 142 and installed a Eaton TruTrac LSD, so you could research the torque limits of that unit.

I started a thread in the 142 Forum, https://forums.swedespeed.com/showthread.php?374417-Limited-Slip-Differential

"Model" : 912A588 Trutrac Assembly

I bought mine from Summit Racing.

EDIT Just looked on the TurboBricks forum and other places and see that these rear ends were used on the later 740/760/780 as well,
