I know in order to disable them, I would need to just pull out the fuse. I live in Florida so they aren't useful at all down here in the hot weather. But as I am looking at the diagram, it seems to be hidden. Does anyone know how to actually get to it because the diagram doesn't give a good explanation of actually getting to Fuse 8 in the engine bay. It looks like I would have to somehow remove the Fuse box A but I can't seem to do that.
I tried to remove fuse, but to get to bottom you need some kind of a special tool. I ended removing drivers side wheel arch front screws. Only front ones, there are 4 as far as I remember. Move plastic, shove hand in and disconnect headlight washer pump. Done.
Just check pipe routing, because one pump is for windshield.
This must be a different fuse box setup in early models because I had no issue removing the fuse from my '15 S60...
