Driving a regular old XC hasn't been bad. As MN-TurboR has showed us (among others, yes), an XC can look wicked cool and be fun too.
This seller is getting a little sharp and defensive. I understand how he's feeling, but that's not going to raise the bidding (although it doesn't look like it's hurt him either).

yeah his comments are weirdly defensive, particularly to the extent that the comments he's responding to weren't unfair or out of line or anything. and mocking people that drive SRTs and Cadillacs? that came out of nowhere. if i were bidding i would be concerned that he's trying to hide something with an attitude like that.

He’s at$15k I think he’s doing just fine. Just remember I don’t think you or I would pay that much for the car and nether will a lot of other. We just like that they sell high given we own then ourselves. The average guy doesn’t have car collection just people with the bucks to buy what they want.

I never post here anymore in an attempt to keep at bay that "gotta have my R back" itch that's in the back of my head. I'm done with the auction. The only reason I ever sold my R is because it lacked the Atacama. At this point I'll keep hunting (assuming somebody out bids me). Although Skywolf has me very tempted, because my last one had them (i had the cargo window shades and the picnic table even), I want all those options (sub, windowshades, climate, etc. - heck even the "R" doorlock knobs).

I've been of the belief, for a couple years now, that these cars have already bottomed out. The market is just continuing to support that. I don't see a reason why it would start going down again in the foreseeable future. There's a demographic that wants cars like this that has a pretty stable number of people in it, but I am pretty sure the supply of new cars in this class is below replacement level.

I've never seen yours in person but was vying for the purchase with you, and you were there with the money first. Do not discount your car or all the hard work you've put into it. It's sweet.
I'd have never been one to buy wild colors, but in the last few years, I don't care anymore. The more odd and weird the color, the better. It's individualism at its best. I'd rock a flash green.
I'd also have a total piece of crap Corolla for a 29 day daily and drive the VR to shows.
Atacama is the sh!t, but to me, a flash/nord/m66 is subtle enough to be sheer perfection, and seriously - how many 05s were there in the US? 5?? 3??

I voted for Colin in both categories he was eligible. I thought he was gonna win two categories between that and his CY estate.

The SCD crowd this year must have valued your creative and cleanly executed mods over originality and rarity. But I have no idea how you would ever lose to the other Flash lol.

Just took it for a spin. Leather is in pretty great condition. No cracks, tears, drivers seat not showering wear. Needs some conditioning to soften up though. Drives well, 4C working, did not have a chance to do Pcv test. Body is pretty dinged up all over and there is a check engine light on
