Rookie question on TPMS Tire/Wheel winter/summer swap

So I finally bit the bullet and bought a CPO 2017 XC90! It's great, but it has the 20" wheels and with winter rapidly approaching in New England, I'm looking to swap in some winter tires.
If I buy a set of tires that fit properly (I'd prefer to go with the 19", but not a big deal) with the wheels and TPMS already installed (and everything balanced), can I just do the swap in my driveway on my own? What do I need to do with respect to the TPMS?

You shouldn't need to do anything with TPMS if both sets have sensors installed.

Question - Does the 2017 XC90 still have direct TPMS?

Love the car so far, but long-term reliability worries me a bit and I typically like to drive my cars at least 6+ years.

If you car is US spec it looks like you have indirect TPMS so no sensors to worry about. It's on page 467 of the manual:
