Thinking of finally getting one, currently using the OwlCam. Live the cellular option but the video quality and especially the mounting location is not pleasant.
Iím running a 2 channel BlackVue. Expensive but great quality. Link it to a BlackVue account and you have remote viewing.

What do you need to get the remote viewing? In car hot spot any thing more?

Did you do the install or got it done? Any pointers

Yes you do need a car hotspot. Install is very easy to do yourself but I would recommend buying a set of trim tools

I'm seriously considering upgrading my 18x8 R-design wheels with these 19x8.5 and swapping the standard brakes for Polestar blue ones. What are your thoughts?

Nice color, I'd like the same with my denim blue it would look awesome.
The polestar brakes will pop behind those!

Added this extra storage accessory from alibaba

And a few weeks ago hard wired radar detector and VAVA dash cam

I also put a rear facing dash cam. Snaked the USB wire to the power port in the trunk. That camera is not part of the dash cam in the front. I already had that camera from my previous vehicle. I'll post a pic some other time. It's up and to the side out of the way when I look to the rear view mirror.

Does anyone know if you can fit a roof box and 2 bike mounts at the same time?

I followed this video from Tommy L Garage and the following thread to both assist me. Information on both made it so I was ready to tackle the job. Very little guessing needed but you have to prep as far as buying the right materials ahead of time.

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFcvIScQ-Is
      https://forums.swedespeed.com/showth...Radar-Detector

I used the same fuse # locations Tommy L used it works well. I don't remember if it was the same as the person in the thread used. Those on his car are the same as my 19' S60

The Fuse box itself is in a very uncomfortable position underneath the car unlike his video with tons of space in the XC90 SUV. Don't quote me, but I remember in his video he points to some tabs on top and bottom of fuse box cover in order to remove. I did not have to do that. I broke one of the tabs trying to remove it but I started looking closely at the design and realized it wasn't going to do anything anyway. You basically grab from the back of the cover and pull back and to the left to remove. It took a little force but it came off. I sort of remember this part as I was working quickly outside in the cold. That part is a blurry to me now.

You'll want to ground both wires to the same bolt holding the fuse box in place.

You'll also have to cut a hole in the fuse box cover to allow the two (or one) wire to come out. I wasn't expecting to do this but I was able to manage with a box cutter I had in the car. I made a small square hole on the edge of the cover.

The A Pillar was sort of easy to take out but it took some wrestling to remove. The most difficult part however was replacing it. I had my tint shop put it back on which they did as a favor. I really did try but couldn't do it. They explained the way they did it was lay it flat on the dash horizontally and start pushing in from the bottom and slowly attach up. I didn't see them do it.

Here are the items I ordered:

      https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (Radar Detector Hard wire, I didn't bother mirror tapping although I had the mirror tap already).

      https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (Fuse Tap / Add a circuit).

For wire crimping, I purchased a wire crimper at harbor freight which came with a few crimp butt connectors for like $5 bucks. I think I bought additional crimp connectors that I used to attach to ground bolt as well.

Awesome, thanks. I may try to do this with my V1. I guess I assumed it would be easier to just tap into some switched wire inside the City Safety box....

Nice, even a blind dog finds a bone sometimes 😉. Looking forward to the finish product! Is the diffuser different for the double exhaust ports per side vs the standard exhaust?

Theyre not bad. They do the job, not the same over all quality and durability as weathertech, but I like the fact that they have high side wall protection. In montreal it snows like crazy so it's a great this to not have to worry about boots... plus the back row is 1 piece that goes over the middle hump

Did you have any trouble "wrapping" the gas pedal over the original? Specifically do both lips on the sides tuck well? I am having trouble in stretching the sample I received.

      Thanks.

The gas was actually super easy. The break was a bit more difficult.. but if you place the pedal in warm water it loosens a bit the rubber makes it more malleable..

Thanks, no issue with the brake, but just can't get both sides of the gas to wrap. Will give the warm water a try then.

This thread, and a couple of others is all about pictures. Which is fantastic! In order to make it a little more readable and reduce the clutter, can I please suggest that folks take a couple of clicks to delete the pictures in their reply when doing a "Reply with quote"? It will make threads like these much more readable by not having to wade through the same pictures over and over again.

I know some of you already do it - Thank you!

      Thanks again.
