So I have owned 7 Volvos over the last 10 years and I am slowly infecting my neighbors (one bought a 2019 XC70 T8 last year), and now my brother in law is looking at a 2011 XC70. It's AWD with the 3.2 NA engine.
He test drove it and said there was a slight vibration at about 40 MPH but it disappeared after that. I think he has ruled out wheel bearings. Could it be wear or slop an angle gear on the AWD system or a transmission issue? It has 99,000 miles and was a one-owner trade in to the non-Volvo dealer. When he told the salesman about the vibration, the guy said he would have it looked at, for what it's worth. Just a few hours ago so no feedback yet.
Any input is appreciated.
