      bosch 4.3 or 4.4

Hello all, been doing the stage 0 stuff as well as other maintenance and have been researching a tune for my 855r. Seems like I dont need the added capacity of the 4.4. IPD id out of my price range as well. I do not trust ARD and I have heard that the Speedtuning ecm runs rich. I plan on keeping the stock turbo and have a modified exhaust. your thoughts please.

      What's up Ben.

Have you looked at Vast Tuning? Aaron from VT seems to be the go to guy for our P80 cars.

Thanks for the reply. I did contact him but all his tunes are 4.4 and I need a laptop and cable to datalog I believe. Seems complex and beyond just a step up from stock. But I have heard nothing but good things about his tuning.

There's a new tuner sweeping Volvospeed, Calvin from Sovvagn Motorwerke. Basically the same type of tuning from Vast but he has allegedly less experience that Aaron at Vast (?). I'd be interested in a 'scientific' comparison between the two options, but when the time comes I'll probably go with Vast.

He just finished tuning my car. (16T, green injectors, Do88 intercooler, RIP kit) Aaron is very knowledgeable and provided quality customer service when I was having problems getting my car to connect with the laptop. His tune has been top notch so far.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I will get the ecu this coming week. One day a set up like yours is what I am thinking. Suspension will be after the ecu and it will honestly be a long while before I can do those performance upgrades.

Just received the ecu today and installed it right away. Car started right up and I drove it around the block. Idle is smoother and the shifts seem firmer. I will take it for a good drive tomorrow.

Have you considered the Coil on Plug conversion?

I saw the kit on the VAST site. I am really not sure yet but I need to focus on some front suspension maintenance next.Do you have the COP and if you do what is your thoughts?

I reeeeally want to do the conversion before I get a bigger turbo. Lots of work and stuff that needs to be replaced before I do the bigger upgrades
