What, pray tell, made you choose a Volvo over your paycheck?
I paid with my money and not yours, so I don't need to explain my decisions to anyone.
Ah, as an "Audi dealer" I have special prices, the price I paid is unavailable to you

Only an idiot can write something like you

This can NEVER happen in Audi, as in Volvo, a PROBLEM known for years and that not SOLVED, thanks to Volvo developers who can't and don't know how to solve it

Please do us all a favor and stop trolling.

      All you do is complain.

And you basically just announced that you’re a cheapskate and whine about everything.

I know I’ve been known to complain but you get the cake. And pie. And strudel. And any other prize.

I panicked and hit the brakes to cancel it. Is that just what it does? Would it have stopped before it backed into the front of the other car? I've already replaced the rear bumper once cuz someone hit me, I'd rather not do $1800 again, but I really want to see it park (I kinda suck at it). It just really worried me the way it was approaching.
On perp parking, I always cover the brake and maybe sometimes ride it slightly.

I don’t trust the speed either.

If you know what it's looking for it works great... but not as great as I park without it, so I don't use it at all and find it slow. It's a tough tech because folks who get good enough to get comfortable with it don't need it and the folks that it would really help get freaked out by the trust issues. Our sales manager loves it and uses it anytime she parks.

I think maybe I'll go to my dealer and have him show me the feature in their parking lot. If he does it then I won't feel bad, if the car does hit something, then they witnessed it and the repairs will be covered for having a faulty system. But if you all trust it, maybe I'll give it another go.

That's the best thing to do. Folks are more comfortable after seeing someone else do it. It does take a little understanding the parameters it's looking for in a spot as well. It's like a half perpendicular half parallel parker.... or is it half parallel half perpendicular parker... or half parker half perpedicular parallel....
