      '17 S90 Lowering/Coilover Options

      Hi All,

I recently purchased a 2017 S90 T5 Momentum FWD and am looking for lowering options for the car and i am having a hard time finding options. The one i see most frequently and have watched a YouTube video on are the Heico Adjustable Sport Suspension. Does anyone with this suspension have any pics or tips? Or if anyone has a suggestion on a lowering kit (springs, coilovers, or air kit) please let me know. I upgraded from a 2013 Honda Civic Si and finding products for that was cake so i still have a lot to learn. Thanks and hope to hear from you guys soon.

Volvo's get modded plenty, but it's usually smaller and older models.

I hven't seen too many people go nuts with PSA S90's or V90's yet.

Probably because car modding is more popular among younger kids, and they buy and mod cheaper cars.

The S90 and V90 are large luxobarges really targeted at an older more affluent buyer, so it's not a surprise that parts availability would be limited.

Heico setup is made by KW. Wait for next big KW sale.

Accuair. Hands down the best air suspension company out there.if you go that route. I've dealt with them and the owners on several builds

I believe Eibach makes a setup for the V90. A local owner installed on his V90 RD.

I own the car in that YouTube video you watched and filmed/edited it for the Heico guys 🙂

I’ve had it in since spring and am really happy with it! While the default setup is good, I found it a bit firm. Took me a few weeks and tweaking of bump and rebound but I have it set up perfect now. More comfortable than stock with noticeably less body roll.

Depending on your wheels (I run a 245/35 tire on 9x21 Heicos with the old 43 offset), you won’t be able to go super low as rubbing becomes an issue when applying strong steering angle. Might get interesting with my new Heico wheels with a 38 offset next summer... On my stock Volvo 21“ Winter wheels, I dropped it a bit lower without any rubbing issues.

Would def. recommend the Kit 👍
