Yes. It really is. MY2000 would be nicer but idk if they made signal red in MY2000, but itís beautiful. One of my plans in the distance future is the paint the new VR red lol

      From the Wiki...

For 1998 the R was available in 6 colours: Black Stone, Nautic Blue, Silver Metallic, Coral Red, Regency Red, Saffron.

For 1999 the R was available in 8 colours: Black Stone, Classic Red, Nautic Blue Pearl, Silver Metallic, Cassis, Venetian Red Pearl, Dark Olive Green, Laser Blue.

For 2000 the R was available in 6 colours: Black Stone, Nautic Blue Pearl, Silver Metallic, Venetian Red Pearl, Dark Olive Green, Laser Blue.

I've never been a fan of changing a vehicle's paint color. Seems like easier to find an acceptable example and change mechanical parts to match the desired setup.

Are those for the US market or globally? I always thought black, sliver, and saffron were the only Ď98 VR colors.

Iím also not the biggest fan of changing a paint color, but Iíve really been liking m4 p80ís lately, and because I donít think you can get signal/classic red on a Ď98 I figured swapping to another OEM color isnít that bad.

But Iíve also only seen 1 red t5m ever and it was beyond clapped out, plus an XC or a base model is way too much work/more expensive than getting all the R parts that Iíd want on a wagon.

Youíre right, thatís global colors. Not 100% on Regency in MY98 but we definitely did not get Coral. An XC wouldnít be huge changes as far as I know. Mostly stuff youíd probably customize anyways, right?

      Today was the day...

...that the V60 Polestar's depreciated enough to level up with the increasing prices for the P2 VR's.

Regency red isn't bad, but it definitely isn't a signal red, but that VR looks even better on my laptop outside of class, and after a really long senior design grind LOL

Now this is something I can get behind. I'm really excited for the used car market in like 5 years, when I can actually afford to get a high performance wagon. I've been looking into e63 wagons really hard lately, and 535i wagons with a 6 speed. If p2vr's are still climbing when I'm in the market I might have to jump ship to another OEM that builds a bada$$ wagon that can make big power.

Yeah, but that is a hot hot hatch. Those wheel and those seats!
Chris met up and had two sets of wheels in his p3 v60, one with tires. That's a lot, but not as large as p80 or P2 wagon...

      Itís a fastback.

P2 even gets dirty looks I canít put the same set of wheels in the back the way I like to in a p80. That was such a kick in the balls with the 03

That one for sale looks a little rougher than the average '15.5 P* at this point and has some miles on it. Somebody get some Sonax Alcantara cleaner on that driver seat and steering wheel stat!

When people ask me about the car I tell them it's a sport hatch - works perfectly for many owners like me. If you really need storage capacity then this isn't the vehicle for you. All of that P* goodness does come at a price.

I don't know that I can rock a saffron, but for 4500 and if well sorted, that seems nice! Red... that I can do.

I like the ability to carry/store stuff, but let's face it: I don't, with exception to one week a year to the beach & back. Otherwise, my interior is for one person and stays spiffy.

I thought that looked pretty nice, but the pics are small. I was distracted by that a$$ and the polestar wheels.

I am really picky and compare everything to my car, which is pretty clean.

I have never had a situation where I wish the car was bigger but that's just me. YMMV.

statistically (well maybe in the old days) red cars are the most likely to be stopped for speeding, especially when there's a young whipper-snapper behind the wheel. black, white, silver, gray, blend in my son, blend in, fly under the radar and your wallet will thank you.

At 19 I had a bright red IROC Z28, brand spanking new off the lot. I think it had 23 miles.
I never once got a ticket in that car, and I was the typical 19 year old with exception to keeping it clean and safe and NEVER taking it into DC.
Knock on wood, but nothing has changed in decades (with exception to driving style - I'm a little more subdued), but I will agree with color choice. Silver is blend and hide, and is what I wanted to complete the fleet. Red just happens to be another fave and was in VA and hour away, versus flying somewhere.

Anecdotally, I have also never been given a moving violation (a heavy knock on wood here), plenty of parking tickets but that's because Milwaukee parking enforcement is incredibly inconsistent. I also admittedly drive like an a$$hole a lot when I'm driving alone and speed like a banshee on long road trips I take a lot. I like to think I am a smart speeder, like the old Rob at SuperSpeeders videos lol.

My dad likes to tell me the story of how his friend got his car impounded for 'advertising' back when he was in high school. I'm mindful when I speed, but should probably kick that habit

2000 Volvo V70 Wagon, 80k Miles , clean title and carfax, great cond. - $4500 (Greenpoint)

SE I believe. man is that a clean interior and a woman could easily put on her makeup in the reflection off that hood but what's going on with that rear bumper? I kind like it.

I'm diggin that. I could rock it, and only 80K. A fresh set of Pegs and a wang and I'd be ready to go. Maybe a tint.
The back bumper: that's probably PERFECT for City driving/parking.

That's hot. THOSE wheels plus a set of Virgos.
I like what you're finding today.
I could drive to the beach and drive back in that within 6 hours.
Covered the tag in every picture but one. Doh!
