      cold spot

since the temperature are getting to sub freezing. I am noticing some cold spots near the driver door where my knee and lower leg rest on the door.
I am getting heat from the bottom vents, but I can notice some cold spots. Anyone else notice that on the XC90?

tested it with a thermal cam. cold spots on the door sills and where the fuse box is. My left leg on the driver's side is getting cold towards the knee. I think what could be happening, is cold air seeping through maybe from the area where the panel is where the fuse box and maybe somewhere else, and mixing with the warm air coming from the vent, and I am feeling the cold air.

Any ideas, anyone experience this? Not really acceptable on a new car.

I have a thermal camera and could test it so we can compare images. After reading these posts I checked this morning and I feel like there is a colder area close to the door but I would not call it a spot, more like an area that far from heating sources..

Agreed. If you put your hands underneath the front panel where the fuse box is, you will feel little cold air. Also, go around the bottom door sills, you can feel it. And I think they should have more warm air from the bottom vents closer to the passenger door to accommodate any cold areas. Bad design. It is now 32 degrees and I feel it. Wonder what it will be like when it is 10degrees

Try change to vent at low position and blow harder. Any difference?

Does not really help. When there is draft, putting more heat is a temporary fix.
