How do you remove the door trim?

In the S/V90 doors, it's my understanding that you need to remove the trim piece to get at some boots of you want to remove the door panels. But how do you remove the trim piece? Push/slide in one direction? Same on rear and front doors?

      Thanks!

It's actually very easy to do. You need to apply leverage behind the trim near the speaker, ideally by sliding a plastic trim tool behind the trim from above. This will pop the clip on that side out. Then the trim slides towards the front of the door to release the hook on the left-hand side of the trip.

You mean the decorative panels on the inside of the door?

I replaced the brushed aluminum ones for wood in my S90 recently. You just pry them out with something that is not metal (so you don't damage them)

A cheap plastic body panel puller kit should do the trick, or you can use whatever you have handy.

I would avoid anything metal like screwdrivers though.
