For those of you with a V60 Cross Country, what is your observed average fuel economy (combined city/highway)?

At 1000 miles, I got 32 mpg (us) in Comfort mode. 30% in city, 30% on back roads (50mph) and 40% highway (70mph). Not too bad.

For a car with EPA ratings of 22 City/ 31 Highway, 25 Combined. Really?

For folks who are responding to the poll to be accurate you would need to calculate by hand. The onboard indicator is typically a little generous.

I understand and yes, the first response you got is 32mpg and you canít even capture that correctly.

I found most new cars now if you drive them right are underrated with MPG. Iím projecting real life highway to be at ~37 mpg. City is not a clear definition every city is different and should be removed from consideration in my option.

I would prefer if we only have one number based on energy used to travel a distance at a certain speed. Or some other logic.

That is a good point. For consistency, there should be a rule - Onboard or Calculation.

There is so many things wrong with this pole that I would not worry about accuracy.

Fuel type 91 or 93 or lower octane, top tier or not, tires, speeds, passengers, Elevation, tire pressure, temperature, wind speeds, changes in elevation, and mainly highway vs city percentage, distance of data capture, and many other factors for this to be close to accurate.

Not to mention again that the range ends at 30mpg

Average after 2000km is 9.9 L/100km (24 US mpg), and best mileage so far on a highway run at about 70mph is 7.6L/100km (about 31 US mpg).

This is based on onboard computer readout in freezing temperatures with winter tire and rim package from dealership.

Hoping to get under 7L/100km (34-35+ mpg) when the engine has more miles on it and in warmer temps and when I get the summer tires and rims back on the vehicle.
