Matte finish available for P* engineered

Anyone else noticed you can now build a P* engineered S60 in Osmium Gray but with matte paint? It's listed as a $6k option when going through the build process. Pricey, but interesting. Just thought I'd point it out.

Very interesting... it should look awesome, but at that price i probably would’ve passed even if it had been available when i ordered my XC60P.

You have to choose the gray color, and once you are towards the end where you add your options, there is an additional option for matte paint for $6K. Only works for Gray.

If you start your build with any other color and get to options page you can still see it but it will ask you to remove the color you initially selected and make you get the gray...if you want the matte finish.

For the price, I'll just have a wrap shop just put a clear matte film over any paint I choose for much less and I can remove if I get tired of it.

Eh, for $6K you're close to the price of a full wrap, i'd rather just do that if I wanted matte and were spending the money

Looks stunning but I bet it’s a complete bar steward to look after.

I’d be wetting myself about damaging the paint and I fuss about stuff like that enough already.

The Matte Paint is listed under the "Options" section of the builder, one step before "Summary".

If it's anything like BMW's Matte paint, upkeep isn't easy. It's hand wash only, requires special wax, etc. If you're OCD, this is not the paint for you

I love it but the road salt could cake up the paint surface pretty quickly.
